UPDATE, I LOVE IT MORE A MONTH LATER. I think the one star folks are using it incorrectly. It is made specifically to cradle your head and neck to keep the spine aligned. It is NOT to lift the head, so READ before you buy!! I am finding my muscles to be more relaxed than ever. I had C5,C6,C7 fusion, and it is helping greatly. I plan on ordering another!------------now to original review:::::I have gone through so many pillows, so many styles, so much money. THIS IS THE FIRST that I found to actually HELP - I repeat HELP relieve my neck strain. Sleeping on my back is now easy. ADDED PLUS is that either side of the pillow has built in arm rest that is SO COMFY when I turn to side sleeping. With the arm rest, the shoulder pressure is gone! Also, the pillow is not too soft, and does not puff out and cover half your face when on your side. It is soft, but firm so my face is still exposed while side sleeping. That was important to me.It does have a manufacturer's smell, but after a one day airing, it is gone. I cannot emphasize enough that this pillow really is great for those with cervical trouble. Mine is C5 C6 C7, and the pressure is gone as soon as my head is cradled, it is an AHHHHHHhhhhhh moment when I lay on my back.I hesitated at the price, but I would not hesitate to buy now; and again, Iove the way the arm rests are built in. SO COMFY!!!!

Just received this pillow yesterday so I have only slept on it one night, but let me tell you, I had an amazingly good night sleep! I awoke feeling wonderful and wanted to share the news of this pillows performance with all I know who have neck/ shoulder problems sleeping.If by some chance this pillow becomes uncomfortable (which is highly doubtful) I will update my review.

Not the greatest. I gave this almost a week of use before writing this review and this is my honest review. First night it was a dream come true I finally had a goodnights sleep in 7 months (after a car accident) it was plush and firm but not to firm by night 2 I found it was already flattened and never went back into place after the first night. Its supposed to be memory foam the only thing it remembered was how flat it was when I got up in the morning. I do not have pets and my daughter never touched it. I gave it a couple more nights of trying to sleep on it and finally gave up. Sending it back because its not worth 50 bucks. The more I tried to use it the flatter the middle became. It was not worth it to me I get more support from my daughters 4 year old pillow pet then I got from this.

Ended up picking up a couple of these and we generally like them. They're a firmer foam underneath with a softer top layer, making them supportive for larger individuals like my 6'4" partner. :) If you tuck your shoulders right up against it, the angle is decent for head lift (though slightly high, especially if you've a smaller build), and the sides are pretty good for side-sleeping. The shape does tend to encourage your body to stay in place, though, so if you're a more mobile sleeper, you might find yourself initially sore or stiff from not being able to adjust as much. I swap up with other pillows as needed (still searching for that dream pillow!), but keep coming back to this one for support.It does come with a cover, but I absolutely recommend using a proper pillow case of your own. We've had no issues with ear suction or overheating when we've used our own higher quality pillow cases. Additionally, as it states - it's memory foam. It's simply a type of polyurethane that is manufactured and shaped. It's gonna smell a bit of chemical at first. I simply aired out each pillow for a good 24 hours before first use and any residual scent was gone within a couple days.

I've struggeled with chronic neck pain for several years and wanted an additional pillow to use for travel and wanted to try a different style than the one I currently used. I was excited to use this pillow based on reviews . I am unable to sleep comfortably on my side due to not enough neck support. When I got this pillow I quick tested it and thought "this will be great" however that night was probably one of the worst nights of my sleep. I woke up in the morning with excruciating pain in my neck muscles. I related it to the pillow being so stiff. I have had three back surgeries, suffered from migraines and very bad neck pain, this pillow has relieved me of both problems. I wake up without pain and sleep better than I have in years. I don't think this pillow has made my migraines go away for good, but to have time away from them is a blessing. I just ordered a second pillow.

I love this pillow! I have neck and back problems and finding the right pillow to: 1. Support my head and neck2. Relieve pressure on my neck3. Feel comfortable and get a good night sleep, has always been hard. I was skepticle about buying this pillow! It arrived 2 weeks ago and it has been the best pillow I have ever bought! I sleep comfortably all night and wake up refreshed and pain free! I LOVE that I am able to sleep on my side and my shoulders don't suffer! The pillow is so perfect for side sleepers! I absolutely reccomend this pillow!

I have struggled to find ANY pillow that feels good. I microfractures at C2-C3 following a car accident. This pillow put my neck and shoulders in perfect alignment while still feeling wonderfully soft. But it was not supportive enough for me, given my neck condition, through the whole night. The only other pillow that works for me is very firm foam. But I'm very glad I tried it and believe this pillow would be excellent for many others.
