HP M553x LaserJet Enterprise Color Printer

A large machine but one that matches its specification perfectly. It is fast, too. The fact that it prints doubled sided is an added bonus. The crispness of the finished print is excellent and the color separation is well defined. Professional reviews suggest that the machine is economical with toner and lower power consumption than with similar printers. This means that that proprietary brand toners (it only accepts genuine HP cartridges) still stand comparison with other printers. Excellent value. The software loads first time with no problems on a Windows 10 os. I have no hesitation in recommending this printer.

HP M553n - Fast and quiet and easy to set up. And - it comes with the toner already in the machine. I got it set up on the network with a dynamic network address. Then I called my IT guy and he remotely gave it a static address and made it accessible to the other workstations on the network. No issues, no drama. It just works. Quietly. The print quality is great for our office. It holds a whole ream of good quality paper. It is easy to print a letterhead first page using the side slot. The cords exit from the left side as you face the printer (making the left side the ugly side). This is different than the last three printers that I had in this location. 7/21/17 update: The original toner cartridges last as at least as long as the "extended" cartridges for the OKI C531. And I REALLY like this: At the end of what it considers the life of the cartridge, it gives you the option of printing between 50 and 300 (you can choose) more pages before it warns you again. And then you can "snooze" the alarm again and again if the printing still looks good. What a brilliant, customer-friendly feature! I actually walk around the office saying "I love this printer!" That's a first. When I next need a multi-function printer, I hope to get an HP MFP as close as possible to the M553n.

C'est ma 3ème imprimante laser couleur, mais je suis déçu par sa complexité, je n'ai jamais vu une imprimante aussi 'incompréhensible', il faut dire que je ne suis pas 1 geek. De + elle met 1 heure à se lancer, ce qui - évidemment - n'est pas dit dans le descriptif. Résultat j'utilise mon ancienne imprimante (qui bugue désormais pas mal), mais qui au moins est simple et démarre au 1/4 de tour. Je pense qu'à la terme je serai bien obligé de m'y faire (et de me plonger des heures dans le manuel), mais je crois que ce sera long !
