20 to Crochet: Crocheted Mandalas (Twenty to Make)

When I opened my Amazon Prime box containing books, I was not impressed by the looks of the "Twenty to Make Crocheted Mandalas."It was a smaller book, and I put it aside to look at the other books.I was pleasantly surprised when I finally took the time to open the book. The mandalas are gorgeous! Many times, pattern books only have one or two patterns that catch my eye, but I plan on making all twenty mandalas.The book doesn't provide charts, but the instructions are well-written and each row gives the stitch count. The colored photos are pleasing to the eye, and show the details of the stitches.The writer, Lynne Rowe, suggested a crocheter can use their own colors and yarns. I happened to have some Schachenmayr Catania yarn, and I made three mandalas in a day.

I'm enjoying this book. I was looking for patterns to crochet in the round and use up my scraps. Lovely designs that are easy to read and all have color pictures. Very relaxing to make, and I am putting them everywhere around the house on tables.

Love the easy patterned

I was really disappointed in the book. Expected the mandala’s to be larger. Pictures are pretty and the pattern appear to be easy enough to read.

Instructions could be easier to read

This little book looks fab but I haven’t had chance to make anything yet. What I’d like is to be able to make bigger mandalas (big enough to make a blanket) or join them together as stand alone they are pretty but can’t see how useful they could be. Ideas welcome!! The book is well written

My book arrived early and was packed well. It’s another to add to my growing collection of Twenty To Make series and it did not disappoint, lots of lovely ideas and inspiration to make some of these beautiful mandalas.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my sister and she loved it. She sat down with some spare wool straight away and got going!

Good selection, I'm working through them all and haven't found any I don't like yet. Range of difficulty so good for a learner.

Fabulous book, easy to use and great results, just need more hours in the day to crochet
