EVGA GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 256bit, DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DP SLI Ready Graphics Card (04G-P4-1970-KR)

This card has ran just about everything I have thrown at it since 2015. It is still going strong now in late 2019.I'm just not sure why after 6 years the seller is charging $100 more than it cost in 2015. Other than the mark up this Card is a true champ and is not too loud under load.

I ordered the EVGA GTX 970 and it finally arrived today! I personally prefere blower fan cards to keep the heat out of the case as much as possible. This card replaced two EVGA GTX 560's in sli, this card by far surpasses their performance.This card is extremely fast! It has meet all of my expectations in regards to performance, I just installed it tonight so my testing is limited; what I can say about the performance is that in Far Cry 4 with settings on Ultra I am getting 60-100 fps. On Watchdogs with maxed out settings I'm getting around 40 fps, which sounds low but the game is still playing very smooth, smoother than the majority of games at 40 fps.The only thing about this card which doesn't seem to line up with reviews from others is the heat. In Far Cry 4 and Watchdogs I noticed that I was getting max temps around 75 degrees, and that's with EVGA Precisions fan control set to max out fan speed at 80 degrees. I was expecting to be around 65 degrees from the reviews, it was a little warm in my office at the time so that might have had something to do with it.I'm still very happy with my purchase, despite the heat issue. My top 560 card in sli was always running around 75 to 80 degrees, and I always let my parts cool down before shutting down my pc after gaming so this shouldn't be an issue.

I installed this in my alienware x51 R2 I got in December 2015 and it was instant plug and play. Nice upgrade in power. I think this system will last me another few years no problem.

I bought this video card because I thought, from the thumbnail, that cooling was done by something that blocked dust from entering the internals of the card itself. It turns out this isn't true -- the hard plastic shell is mostly decorative, and has openings around the corners that will allow dust in and make cleaning a very painful job. I really wish computer hardware manufacturers catered a little more to computer hardware owners; when will liquid-cooled systems not dependent on fans become available on the consumer market?Still, the card performs as advertized, apart from the dust-prevention part of things, so I can't justify rating this below 4 stars.

This gtx 970 works exactly as I expected it to. No complaints, only satisfaction. Running League of Legends at 120fps+ with maxed out settings. I don't play any new super graphic intensive games so I can't speak to that, but I am a happy customer.

Purchased this directly from the manufacturer. Less than 12 hours after installing it into my computer, it is going back for a full refund. eVGA has cashed out on their name. The power circuitry is not as good as the competition, the fan noise is unbearable due to what I suspect are low end components. When you go low quality on the inductors, capacitors, and controllers that drive your fan ... you get noise like what I am hearing on this card. Did I mention this fan's grinding noise is at *IDLE*? At load it is much much worse than the eVGA GTX 780 (the previous generation card which performs about the same) in my wife's computer.The card works, yes. eVGA customer service has been very quick to move along my RMA for a refund, so that is a plus. But even stellar customer service does not make up for poor product design. The ACX style of cards have their own quality problems and a poorly designed heatsink too. I will be skippping eVGA for this generation of GPUs.UPDATE 11/8/14eVGA has still not refunded my money after returning the graphics card. Next week I will be pursuing a credit card chargeback against them. Amazon would never be this negligent! I can only recommend buyers purchase eVGA cards through Amazon and avoid direct from the manufacturer.UPDATE 11/16/14After informing their customer service that I would pursue a chargeback against them, eVGA finally issued the refund that I was due. At least the refund amount was correct but I am out the cost of the original shipping and the return shipping. Lesson learned. Shop at Amazon.

Awesome card. All my games run flawlessly on high settings. It is a big card though, so make sure you have a big enough chassis.

It has served me well with all my video gaming needs. I was especially pleased to learn that I could also use ShadowPlay with it. It is almost noiseless when it's running. 10/10 would buy again.

Works great. Slight coil whine, but stable performances.

I've only had the card for a few weeks, but it runs my 2 most-played modern first-person games at Ultra settings, smooth as silk.I used Afterburner to bump the fan speeds over the default speed/temp curve a bit, and it never goes much over 70C as a result. Fairly quiet, and Shadowplay is a great feature too. This is my second EVGA-based Nvidia card, and I'll definitely be going back to them for my next one.

The card performed as expected (awesome), but the cooler on this card is unbearably loud even on idle :(. Also on full load there is a very high pitch whining that comes from the card. I am very disappointed and don't expect to buying from evga again.

Excelente tarjeta precio rendimiento, me llego al día siguiente, el rendimiento es como era de esperarse, tengo la versión de referencia y las temperaturas desde 35 idle hasta 65 max en juego. Por cierto tengo una gtx 960 y la verdad es que si hay un gran diferencia en rendimiento de 20 a 30fps facil.
