The smell seems good, as in a bit stinky, similar to other rat repellant liquids I've bought, that worked. There were no little brown acrobats trying to raid the bird table this morning. It seems like it will be of some use in the effort to reclaim the garden. However, my fault for buying in haste, I did not notice that it's a TINY bottle, the quantity is clearly shown in the advert, so my bad, but that makes the price extremely expensive. I've added a picture of it next to a different brand I bought last year for the same price, that was was really effective (but been unable to find since). Even if it proves effective long term I won't buy again as the bottle is too small to cover the area I need it to.

I have been dealing with a rat infestation this year and have tried many methods. I started with the deterrent options first of which this is one. To be honest it's almost impossible to tell if this works. I didn't see rats actively avoiding areas that I sprayed, nor did I see them hanging around the areas either. I did however see rats around my garden after I had started to use this spray. So I have to conclude that it didn't do the job I wanted it to do. I have since resorted to using more extreme extermination methods. A dead rat is a rat eliminated from the problem.

Smells so bad as soon as I opened the sealed envelope I nearly passed out in the hallway and the dog went berserk. Think of the worlds smelliest sock and double it, I think you’d need to keep spraying the infested areas to maintain the stench and clear the rats but it was too much for me, it made my decking smell so bad we had to cancel our BBQ.

I did not like the smell. Unfortunately I made a mistake with this one. I think its more for outside use and im sure it will keep the rodents at bay, however I got an underlying smell of manure and as I wanted to use it in the kitchen, I won't be able to do that i will however kep it in case I ever have need to use it outside.

Got this after seeing a rat in our garden, as we have a dog i wanted something safe so as not to affect him,sprayed around fence perimeter, in sheds and along where rat was spotted . This was over a month ago and it seems to have worked haven't seen a rat since and no adverse reaction from the dog.

This product was brought for someone else so it is hard to rate it

Product arrived with no instructions, other than what was printed on the container: "Spray into air". Which we did. I went through almost a whole bottle of the product within two days. But two rats became three, then five. In the end we called the local council who sorted the problem practically overnight, for free!
