The emus are killed to obtain this oil? How are they treated during the process to obtain it's oil?

Per Google: "Emus Are Killed. Emus are unfortunately killed to produce the emu oil. However, the emus are also killed for their meat. Many emu farmers raise and slaughter the animals then the byproducts are then used for food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes."

How can these be cruelty free? Animals are killed, this is cruelty.

Did not have any idea if that is true that any animals are killed to make emu oil! The oils are derived from the skin of the emu without harm to my knowledge
