I am very happy with this set! It is perfect for people with limited hand dexterity, like I have arthritis, and the weighted design of this set makes eating easier. I got these for my mom who has Parkinson's. Thankfully, she's not quite at the point where she can't use normal silverware, but these come in handy on a bad day. i never knew about weighted utensils, until an occupational therapist at the rehabilitation center showed us. so, when i saw the Adaptive Utensils, Weighted Special Supplies Spoon Fork Set i ordered it. for someone living with parkinsons, these are very helpful. unike the weighted utensils i saw at the rehab facility, in this set, both the fork and a spoon are adaptive. i like that they can be bent, going from straight to 180 degrees. the set also includes a tiny brush, though i am not sure what is it used for. the set is well-made and even looks expensive. recommended for anyone who has weak or shaking hands

These are attractive utensils that are weighted, but not too heavy - they have a nice heft and the quality is good. I really like that they can be customized to the optimal angle for different peoples’ needs. I do wish that the set came with a large soup spoon, too, to complete the set. My reason for withholding a star is that they are pretty tight and a little difficult to adjust the angle settings on, particularly for people who need adaptive silverware like this.
