Terrific
It is rare that something performs better than I expected but this was so easy to use that I am very impressed. It’s battery powered and as soon as I lined up the metal prongs on the BlueLink with the contacts on my Mares Quad dive computer, my last 6 dives transferred over to the SSI app on my iPhone in about 30 seconds. This thing is great.

Works great with Puck Pro & smart devices
I use this Mares Bluelink device with my daughters Mares Puck Pro dive computer. The Puck Pro, and other similar devices came out over 10 years ago. As such, it’s difficult to find current app support, as well as a functional interface to download data from such an old-design dive computer to a current 2022+ smart device like an iPhone or iPad.This BLUELINK device makes it super quick & easy, and I use the “Subsurface-Mobile” app to keep an ongoing digital dive log for my daughter!

Easy to link to smart phone
I have a Mares puck pro and this worked flawlessly in transferring my dive log to my SSI app.

It won’t do firmware updates on a Puck Pro, but it does synch you dive data nicely to the SSI app.
It is a little finicky attaching it to the computer - it clips loosely on two contact points. That said, once you get a synch working it saves tons of time manually adding data to your dive log. On balance, I’m happy with the purchase.

Only works with smart phones
I bought for my Mares Smart dive computer and was intending to connect it to my PC computer but after several attempts to connect it, I found on the Mares website that this is only for the phones and not PC. I then connected it to my phone and it is kind of a pain to use. The clamp has to be lined up just right and if it gets bumped it looses connection. I also found if I tried to download more than 3 dives at once it would just stop communicating after the 3rd but stay connected. I would then have to disconnect the device from my dive computer and keep it off for several second before reconnecting it and trying to pair it with my phone. I have returned it and will be getting the USB version to connect to my computer.

If not working on arrival then replace the battery
Little tedious to understand at first. Once I replaced the battery it worked as advertised and I was able to download all of my dives.
