CF Power New Replacement Turbocharger for Subaru Legacy GT/Outback XT 05-09 Turbo VC430083

2005 Legacy GT Wagon.I'm apparently one of the fortunate few who isn't having to replace an engine as a result of a turbo failing. Believe the photos, this unit is every bit the same dog as the one your car came with. Everything about it is identical and I'd put money on it that it came out of the same factory, Other than having to mess with the exhaust system, it fit right up, all holes where they were expected to be and no issues. Absolutely read the literature that comes with the unit, there is useful and interesting information shared I haven't seen elsewhere and explains how to prime the unit before install. Mine has been in use for one month and I'm very happy with it so far, purchased car DOA so do not know of its performance prior to this but like what it puts out now. I have recommended to a buddy who owns a shop for his next client in need.

I spent 5 hours installing this turbo to find out it does not match up to a OEM intercooler or intake boot I have a 2006 Subaru XT outback.What a complete waste of time. If these guys were local I would go down there and talk to them in person.

This turbo fit my 06 Legacy GT perfectly. It’s only been a week since I’ve installed it so I can’t say whether it’s better or as reliable as the stock turbo. But my car is running great so far.

35 miles. 35 miles is what I got out of this. I checked the oil feed lines and the screens in the Bango bolts. All clear. Debris was cleared from intake boot and both the pre turbo cat and after turbo cat. New oil was put in before the car was started. Just spend the money on a better brand or oem subaru.
