SEACBasic HD, 5 mm neoprene diving boots with side zip and semi-rigid sole

I love these boots! Used them for swimming all throughout winter and they've made a huge difference in the cold. Can be a bit tight at the top of the ankle so be aware of that but otherwise these are a game changer for me. Thought they'd make swimming more awkward too but I haven't noticed that and they're not too bulky.

I wasn’t lucky to get the right fit, the actual boot was too big and at the same time too narrow round my ankle 😳🤦🏼‍♀️.However these are made well & it seems to be good quality.I am size 5.5-6 & got them in S.My problem is that even if I go for a size smaller & I still wouldn’t be able to zip them up .Gutted.

Bought these are reading good reviews. They fit reasonably well (I take a size 4 (37) and have very slim feet. But the thing that makes these boots work is the side zip. Once I have been swimming my hands are cold and getting them off would be so difficult without the zip. The sole has a comfortable, rugged but flexible tread which stops me slipping around on the pond edge.

I bought these as my club will occasionally dive twice a day - usually on West Coast of Ireland.Hanging about for a couple of hours between dives in a pair of sodden boots between dives can leave me my hoofs a tad cool - so I appreciate having the second paid to change into when we surface for lunch.These don't feel as sturdy or as well made as my Scubapro 7MM - but they're fine.They also have the advantage of not being as warm - which can be very welcome when I'm sweating in my gear in the Rib on my way out for a summer dive.Overall it was a worthwhile purchase in my case...

Keep my feet warmer than usual socks when I go into the North Sea ! Defo protected from rocks and glass in the seabed too.

These were bought on a but of a whim, as I had no knowledge of what I wanted except that they needed to be 5mm. These did not disappoint, my feet were super toastie today. The soles are durable but not too thick and they were super comfy. I ordered the size according to my foot measurement, but i found rhey came up slightly big. It wasn't a problem though and they did their job perfectly.

Well made and once I got the size right very comfy. Look a bit chunky in the photo but feel light and comfy on. They let in a little water sometimes but not enough to make my feet cold. Zips make them easier to get off than socks.

These things are marvellous. Curiously enough I don’t actually dive in them. I just use them for exploring rock pools and other coastal misadventures.It’s a shame that this material is so downright harmful to the environment as it is miraculous. The feet are kept warm even when wet and the grip is every bit as good as any alternative.From a fashion perspective you’ve got to start from a place of pretty good street credit to be able to pull these babies off. Or just use my logic: The people that define fashion are just making it up as they go along, so why not be a trend setter yourself?To close, I would absolutely recommend these. Warm, comfortable, surprisingly durable for the price and seemingly crab/stone/kraken proof. A rare cheap delight.
