Ultra Wild West: The Art Of Italian "Spaghetti Western" Film Posters (Art of Cinema)

Many posters are not full page. The choice of films/posters could have been better. The colors are OK but in a comparison I prefered what I printed from the internet. There have been better books with more pop from the images. Brief introduction, a few scattered b&w photos. If one has nothing else might make a serviceable spaghetti western "starter set". List of posters with Italian title, actual page of poster has English info.

Yes, the selection of posters in this book is pretty good, with many by well-known Italian artists. And some of the more extreme images in spaghetti genre. Some posters are paired with movie production photos which show where the art originated from, also interesting. Introduction includes brief reviews of a few movies, and poster of "first" Italian western. Some of the well-known films, some not so well-known, but all striking images. And a section of non-Italian westerns which were released in Italy under new titles. So actually quite informative, overall. Takes you into wild world of spaghetti western!

The posters in this book is not of high quality. I would not recommend this book.
