I've had these in the past and fired them for practice - Tried it on a semi-windy day and no visible back spray although a small airborne particle hit me in the eye, just a particle I couldn't see, and it burned like wildfire! Compact, discreet, and effective! They have a clip that allows them to be clipped onto something, or inside your waistband or pocket, Lightweight and easy to use - not cheap, but the quality is there, and the comfort of a top brand like Kimber is reassuring

Although I am CCW, I really don't want to go through the legal hassles of shooting anyone with a real gun, I have switched to this product. Small, shoots where pointed, strong tear/pepper gas, lightweight, muted red color so it doesn't look like you are holding a red balloon in your hand. Price is right. Gives a decent sense of security. I wouldn't go walking in bad areas late at night with it, but for the routine hoodlum, it should suffice.

You can go to YouTube and see actual demonstrations of this product. You get three of these, which have two shots each. Much better than the pepper spray people carry around on key chains or in their pockets. Small enough to easily clip onto a pocket (with the attached clip) or just put in your front pocket, or in a woman's purse. Product is small, so a woman's hand could easily handle it as well. Puts out a strong blast to the attacker, and gives you time to get away. Since it only has two blasts, probably only effective against one attacker. Of course, situational awareness is key, as soon as you detect a threat, or someone is being aggressive with you, it is time to get this thing into your hands and be ready to shoot it, if necessary. For a non lethal carrying self defense, which is easily to carry or conceal, it does not get much better than this.

These are a great size for a purse or a car. They are high-quality pepper sprayers with two blasts each. These are a great idea for self protection without the dangers of a firearm.

A worthy product. Works well, and I did try it out once on somebody just to see.... It's sturdy, fits in a side pants pocket with no problem, and I feel better with it beside me in some circumstances. Does not look like a real firearm, so that's a plus too. I have purchased several of these over many years!

Perfect for personal protection while walking or in your vehicle. Purchased to carry on dog walks after some rouge dogs came after my small dog. Also keep one in the drivers door of each vehicle.

I’ve been carrying for many years but get frustrated when there are restaurants and some businesses where you can’t. The mall is one such place and one has to decide if they go in a gun free zone and potentially not be able to protect yourself…or carry something that could help. I’ve used a number of sprays through the years and I test them out, especially with the ones nearing expiration. I was surprised at how close you have to be with some and with others that were more direct had a larger size and couldn’t readily be carried. I was once charged by a grown pit bull and retreated quickly to my car. If I hadn’t, the only thing I could have done is shot the dog, deal with a potential lawsuit, and everything else that comes with it. If I had this with me, the issue could have been resolved. The dog’s owner wouldn’t be happy, but they should have confined their dog. The same with an attacker. In looking at all the videos of OC / pepper spray I have watched those being shot with it still not unable to discharge a firearm if they had one. This being said, if they have a firearm and intend to use it, I don’t believe this would stop that. I do believe however you could use it on someone with a knife or seeking to fight, etc. especially if you had some distance between them and yourself… but again, probably not against a firearm. Of all the sprays and devices out there, I think this provides the standoff (distance) between you an attacker, it provides the ability to get away and also not be as concerned about wind blow back from the use. These are issues with other devices I’ve tried. You only get two shots with this, but it also beats standing there and “hosing” someone down with another type of dispenser. I purchased three of them, one for my wife, one for me and one for my car. You get what you pay for and I think it brings a price point that is less than a less-lethal pistol configuration that costs $400+ and has the size of a firearm. I still carry, but I often opt to have this with me as well. Having this gives you an option for a less lethal or non lethal aspect if it’s needed. It gives you some protection in gun free areas and with this you have a fighting chance. This in no way replaces a firearm, nor would I carry this instead of one, but it provides a second option if needed.
