The media could not be loaded. Just got it out the box and it’s working like a champ! It wasn’t immediately clear if the instructions were to separate the water and solution. Apparently, from a YouTube video, just tap water until it’s filled then adding a few drops of the solution into the same spout.Also, not obvious on unboxing, the wiping pad is in the secondary bin alongside the hidden plug.Each large window takes a few minutes. It’s obviously not as meticulous as a window washer, however, for very dirty windows on the first Thorough Cleaning setting was perfect. Didn’t need to go over windows more than once. At first, we placed the robot too closely wedged to the top right corner of the window. You don’t need to worry about perfect placement but if too wedged, it doesn’t wriggle out easily to the rest of the window. Space it out 1-2” from the frame and it’ll clean the entire surface, no problem.Sounds just like a vacuum and it’s surprisingly compact and the sound chimes are well designed, too.Surprisingly, doesn’t use much water or solution so you really don’t need to refill after a dozen or so windows (I’m estimating?).Right out the box, had enough charge for two large patio windows but then had to find an outlet. The long cord is electrical so as long as you’re plugged in, you can reasonably clean all the windows in your home. Ours came in Saturday morning and by the afternoon, we got through 16 windows inside/outside, out of 66.There are streaks and minor misses, but overall, very minor and only noticeable if you look for them. No odors. Will definitely be using this little robot often! Great value of the cost!The replacement solution doesn’t look to be terribly expensive either given how much I’d anticipate a bottle to last. 5-stars for this new, happy customer!

I was excited to try the ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO after hearing about its “intelligent” window cleaning features, but this robot has been a major letdown. Right out of the box, it leaves noticeable streaks all over the glass, even after multiple passes. I’ve tried dampening the pad as suggested in the manual, but it still smears dirt around instead of removing it properly, especially on windows that aren’t perfectly spotless to begin with. If your windows have any grime or buildup, forget it—this thing just makes them look worse.One of the biggest problems is the spraying system. It has three nozzles on both sides, but one of mine is barely spraying at all, leading to uneven coverage and patchy cleaning. Parts of the window get too dry while others are oversaturated, which contributes to those awful streaks. I’ve cleaned the nozzles and used the recommended fluid, but it hasn’t helped. It’s like the atomization tech they boast about is faulty on my unit.Then there’s the charging station—it’s supposed to be multi-functional and convenient, but mine stops charging randomly when plugged into the wall. I’ve tried different outlets and cords, but it just quits after a short time, leaving the battery half-charged.The app is another joke. It’s bare-bones at best—no customizable paths beyond basic modes, no real-time progress tracking, and it doesn’t even send a notification when the cleaning cycle is done. You have to babysit the thing or check manually, which defeats the purpose of a hands-off robot.Overall, this robot struggles with corners (leaves dirt behind due to its sensor design), and requires constant monitoring. At this price point, I expected way better. Save your money and stick to manual cleaning or hire a professional.
