Worth the money.
A game worth playing. The story is quite long and it can take 50+ hrs on normal to complete the game with minimal side missions.Although I recommend playing the game on hard as it is more fun that way. (But it will be a bit challenging at start , especially for those who are playing an RPG game for the first time.)In hard difficulty, doing side missions is required or else you won't level up. There are a lot of side missions in the game which at time feel just like a main mission.Upgrading your gear, finding new ones is a lot of fun.The map is huge, literally, spanning over 250 square kilometers. Completing the whole game is a 100+hr task. So,the people who complete game quite fast will also take a lot of time in completing this game. The open world is beautiful and exploring on sea is just awesome. The naval combat is refined . The only cons I can think of is,that the game is a bit too long and you have to keep on grinding at higher difficulties (which is usually fun but can be infuriating at start),and it feels a bit less like an assassin's Creed game when compared to origins and other games. But I think that even with these cons the game is fantastic and these cons shouldn't matter much. A word of advice I would like to give is that update the game to latest patch as some of the glitches have been fixed and also the latest patch brought the new game plus mode which you can play after completing the main story for the first time.

Oh my Kassandra.
Assassin's creed Odyssey may not be the typical assassin's creed gameplay but it is an outstanding RPG. The story is solid, gameplay is good, and the whole presentation is quite immersive. The world is huge, and after 200+ hours I've still got so many things to discover. I had to update my game to the latest software version because I had some significant bugs that were hampering my immersion into the gameplay. Just keep that in mind. If you want a good RPG and are familiar with classical RPG mechanics, definitely get this. Even if you're a casual player with little to no knowledge of RPGs you will still enjoy the solid story and gameplay. Oh and finally, always choose Kassandra as your player. Kassandra is love, Kassandra is life, Kassandra is Aphrodite herself in digital avatar. I love you Kassandra.

Great game
Game was delivered within a day by Amazon, very quick delivery. For the PS4 version, you'd first need to download and install a huge 20 GB patch before playing it. The graphics are amazing and so is the overall gameplay. The storyline is set in ancient Greece 431 BCE. The maps in Odyssey are double the size of that in Origins and will certainly keep the casual gamers busy for months. The fans of Origins will find the gameplay mechanics easy to get used to as they are similar with a few additions in combat system, skills tree and inventory. Also, there are choice based responses in Odyssey which will change how the quests progress based on your choices. It has lots of side quests, an engrossing main story line and exploration of the big maps which adds to an immersive gameplay and a high replayability value. A great game overall.

pic Adventure Awaits: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for PS4
As a longtime fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise, I approached Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with high expectations. I’m thrilled to report that this game not only met but exceeded them. From the sprawling landscapes of Ancient Greece to the intricate storytelling and exhilarating gameplay, Odyssey is a triumph on every front. Stunning Visuals and Immersive World The first thing that strikes you about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is its breathtaking world. Ubisoft has meticulously crafted a vibrant, living depiction of Ancient Greece, complete with sun-drenched beaches, bustling cities, and rugged mountains. Each location is brimming with detail, making exploration a joy. Whether you're sailing across the Aegean Sea or wandering through Athens, the game's visual fidelity is consistently impressive. The day-night cycle and dynamic weather system further enhance the immersion, creating an ever-changing environment that feels truly alive. From the sparkling waters to the intricacies of ancient architecture, Odyssey’s visuals are a feast for the eyes. Engaging Storyline and Rich Characters Odyssey offers a deep and engaging narrative set during the Peloponnesian War. You have the choice to play as either Alexios or Kassandra, mercenaries who embark on an epic quest to uncover their past and navigate the political turbulence of the time. The storytelling is robust, featuring well-developed characters and complex moral choices that genuinely impact the game's outcome. Ubisoft has done an excellent job of interweaving historical events with personal drama, keeping you invested in the protagonist’s journey. The dialogue options and branching storylines add layers of depth, ensuring that no two playthroughs are exactly alike. Dynamic Combat and Gameplay The combat in Odyssey is fast-paced and fluid, offering a blend of melee, ranged, and stealth tactics. The introduction of special abilities, such as the iconic Spartan kick or devastating archery skills, adds variety and excitement to battles. The game’s RPG elements shine through in its skill trees and gear customization. You can tailor your character’s abilities to suit your playstyle, whether you prefer direct combat, stealthy assassinations, or ranged attacks. The leveling system is rewarding, encouraging you to explore, complete missions, and uncover the secrets scattered throughout the world. Naval warfare also returns with a bang. Commanding your ship, the Adrestia, and engaging in sea battles is a thrilling experience. Upgrading your ship and recruiting crew members add another layer of strategy and depth to the gameplay. Expansive Exploration and Quests Odyssey’s map is one of the largest in the Assassin's Creed series, teeming with things to do. From main story missions to side quests, treasure hunts, and ancient ruins, there's no shortage of activities to keep you entertained. The game’s quest design is varied and engaging, often involving intriguing narratives and rewarding exploration. The sheer scope of content is impressive, ensuring that even after dozens of hours, there’s always something new to discover. The historical accuracy and rich lore embedded in each location make exploration educational as well as entertaining. Value for Money With its vast world, deep narrative, and extensive content, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey offers incredible value. The game can easily provide over 100 hours of gameplay, making it a worthwhile investment for any player seeking an epic adventure. The PS4 version performs admirably, with smooth frame rates and quick loading times that keep you immersed in the action. Pros and Cons Pros: Stunningly detailed and immersive open world Engaging and branching storyline with meaningful choices Dynamic and customizable combat system Extensive and varied content with countless quests and activities High replayability due to multiple endings and paths Rich historical setting with educational value Cons: The sheer size of the map can be overwhelming for some players Occasional minor bugs and glitches Some side quests can feel repetitive over time Conclusion Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for PS4 is a monumental achievement in the action-RPG genre. It seamlessly blends an enthralling storyline with a richly detailed world and dynamic gameplay. Whether you’re a fan of the series or a newcomer, Odyssey promises an unforgettable journey through one of history's most fascinating eras. Next RPG themed AC after Origins
As for the physical quality of the product I have nothing to complain about. Game arrived sealed and secured. As for the actual game itself, I haven't played it yet but it is the next installment in the series after Origins so I'm expecting a ot of features and mechanics to return with the new setting of ancient Greece.

This works smoothly on ps5 and I loved the open world and naval combat and graphics man it was amazing the only challenge I found was to increase my lvl according to the main quest ( people who want games like ac unity etc won't like it guess) But it's a decent game
