This cooler works really well. It's probably perfect for RVs and stealth campers or trucks, but I really just need it for my basement so when my guests come to stay they can easily get cold drinks/food without coming up to the house. This little cooler is super light - great that you need to move it around, either for vehicles or at home. The controls are also pretty straightforward - you can choose between energy conservation or cooling performance mode. You can also set a high, medium or low battery protection mode. If the battery reaches 11.1V with the high setting, the unit will shut down and remain in an off state until the voltage reaches 12.4V.You can easily adjust the temperature by pressing the + or - buttons to select desired temperatures. The quality on this little fridge is great - it cools down fast and stays cool. What's best is it stays very quiet, unlike a lot of such coolers. Perfect for me since I put it in the basement guest room, really near the bed.It doesn't hold a lot of items, just the basic drinks and maybe a few sandwiches. I think it'll work really well on a road trip on a RV, that's something I plan to do later!This cooler is a winner! I love it!

This cooler is great for road trips of working the road. This cooler is made of heavy weight and durable material, yet is still light weight. The size of the cooler is great to stash in the backseat on the floor board or in the cargo arear of the back of your vehicle. The cooler easily holds a 12 pack of soda. It has a digital temperature read out so you always now what temperature the cooler is set on. The lid seal tight to get the cold in and the hot out. Cooler runs quieter than you expect for a refrigerator product. The cooler comes with a plug to use with a 12 volt plug in your car on the go or a 110 plug to use in the house or at a a campsite. I got this so we could keep drinks cold while working on the road. It fits great on the floor board in the backseat of the truck. It stated at temperature while running and was easy to move in and out of the truck. It is very durable, to being shove up against things and not breaking. I would definitely buy another one of these coolers, because of the overall good quality and value of the cooler.

I needed a way to keep food cold during a 1 hour trip from a market I like to my home. So, when this became available, I decided to give it a try. This is what I found:1. Overall design is nice, though the carry points are not easy on your hands. It is an inset and not an actual handle. The weight is centered on one side, so initially a bit awkward. If you are careful with weight management when loading, it is easier to remove when loaded.2. The plug design is such that the same cord connection is used for both AC and for DC operation. So, only one connection point to worry about. It has a rubber cover to protect it when not in use.3. There is a slot in the body of the refrigerator/freezer for a separator, but one is not supplied. So, just one bit space to use.4. Temperature setting are in increments of 2 degrees and it is on odd settings. Thus, if you want to set it to 32 degrees, you options are either 31 degrees or 33 degrees.5. Speaking of temperature. The unit appears to be fairly accurate as it matched up with digital probes I used to check it. Just give it time to stabilize before making your own measurement. Temperature inside is displayed on the control panel.6. Controls are easy to use and intuitive. Manual necessary to understand what option settings are, but as for straight temperature settings, not necessary to read to figure out. One of the options allows you to set shutoff if DC voltage becomes low to protect car battery.7. Power cord for AC is short!!! Only 5 feet long. DC power cord is better at 8 feet.8. It took 50 minutes to take a 72 degree interior with NO items in it to 32 degrees. So, if loading with warm items ensure you allow plenty of time for unit to cool down items. If loading in cold items, not a problem.9. There are secure points to attach this to keep it from moving, but the points are small!! So, a bungee cord may work, but certainly nothing with large hooks.10. The latch is a bit of a pain. You need to hold it in to close it. May be a weak point if you are the type of person that likes to slam things shut rather than retracting a lever to close.All in all, I am happy with the unit and it does what I want.

Not happy with it.. cannot get it to cool down below 46 degrees.. I have it set up as 12volt and it draws way way to many watts! I’m sure it needs more to cool in the beginning but still way too high even at 46 degrees.. ridiculous
