Best stitch forward for a new beginner
It's my first sewing machine, so I'm still very much in the beginning stages of learning how to use these things. But I will say that this one has been a breeze to learn. There are some wonderful videos online to help with learning how to use it. I really enjoy the automated threading feature and the plethora of stitching styles. I would highly recommend getting the plastic storage because you can shove a bunch of your extra stuff in Ziploc bags around it. There's enough room to include scissors, thread, ripper, chalk, pinning needles, etc.

Excellent sewing machine( says my wife) loves it especially the easy needle threading.

Get the Option with the Case if Same Price
Was a gift to someone wanting to learn how to sew. She loves the machine and said it has so many options that she will be using this for a long, long time. It came with the carrying case too, which was an added bonus. It happened to be same price as the machine only.
