Nice way to add to your collection!
Seedlings arrived safe in Priority mail package which then had plastic bag over it labeled well to handle with care and fragile. Well wrapped seedlings, bare root as stated, labeled, and even a photo on the label of either the plants bloom or the parents crossed. They are very small, but healthy looking with good roots. I've grown many orchids outside since moving to S.Florida 30 yrs ago. I grow my phals outside on a lanai window sill where they get only morning sun under the lanai screen. They have to be kept warm in winter so anything lower than 55F , I bring them all inside. The new way of growing them in clay pebbles, lava rock, & stones has really made a major difference in my older phals. I was amazed that they took off like "gang-busters"! So...goodbye to growing in bark orchid mixes, which when breaks down can rot the roots or even can become toxic & kill roots. I lost so many years ago not knowing that you must re-pot orchids grown in bark no longer than every 1-2 yrs. I mention this only because of the growing sheet from American Orchid Society seller enclosed which didn't mention the other media that we can use, nor that you can put them outside when warm enough where you live as long as they are in a shaded or low-sun area. Phalaenopsis love the humidity like most orchids and would hate to be in air-conditioning all summer if they didn't have to be. (Watch YouTube orchid vids & learn) As for my new seedlings...they perked up from their "trip" enormously as soon as I put them into a small cup/pot with moist, lightly packed New Zealand sphagnum moss. They will grow fine in just that as I "baby" them until they get big enough for the mix I use now. The translucent new orchid pots that allow you to keep an eye on the roots health & water needs are great. Too expensive? Yes it seems, but a tip I saw in a video is for small orchids, to just buy the clear hard-plastic party cups. Then use an old wood burning tool to make your own holes where you wish them! (Seedlings are in them now.) I'm very pleased with adding some new phals to my collection at such a nice price. I may order again later in hopes to get different ones. My only suggestion would be that seller would let us choose the colors at some point in future, so as not to get any "repeats". Highly recommend seller, very pleased.

A nice variety of healthy plants
The Dendrobiums arrived today, well packed, earlier than expected, and seem to be very healthy. Thanks for the bonus plant! They are potted, and now wait…

Mostly Healthy Plants
These are young, will be a few years before they are mature enough to bloom. One arrived with no roots and sadly did not survive. They even sent a few extra orchids (tolumnia and vanda). Also young but good root systems. Overall happy with purchase.

Healthy little Cattleyas
Meant to take a picture after they first arrived but forgot. Came in a beautiful box as other peoples pictures showed with instructions on each. Plants were packaged dry bare rooted but had healthy roots. I let them soak for 15 minutes or so each. Only a couple had active growing roots. I would have preferred more active growth but still should be okay. Received a free orchid, a dendrobium cane, as a thank you gift. All and all everybody is healthy and look forward to watching them grow.

Vanda orchid
They arrived dry and half dead. I had to cut off more than half the roots because they were completely dried out and dead. Thankfully the orchid itself was ok, I'm hoping I can regrow the root system.I received poor quality SEEDLINGS, these are tiny babies that will not bloom for a couple more years. They gave me a free Dendrobium orchid which is nice but it was also very dried out and smaller than expected.Overall disappointed.

Good value, plants packed with care
I ordered with the warming pack and my plants arrived in good shape and the pack was still warm. Plants are small as expected and the instructions elaborate. I did as instructed and they are all doing fine! Now to resist the urge to micromanage their care!
