for Dodge Ram 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible with 2003-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 & 2019-2023 Ram 1500 Classic & 2003-2013 Ram 2500 3500, Class 3 III Rear Tow Hitch Towing Combo with Cover

My truck did not come with a hitch receiver and I needed one asap. I did some searching on the Googles and assumed I needed the full kit. Since my truck already can with the support, all I needed was the receiver part. I had no idea this existed. And so I did some looking on Amazon and found this hitch receiver for an incredible price. A quarter of the price compared to the Curt model, even on sale. Install ion was easy, with some patience. And fitment was great for my Ram 1500 Classic. Hardware looked high quality with the required torque specs being 75 ft-lb for the 22mm nuts and 250 ft-lb for the flat head 12mm Allen socket bolt. I had to rent a torque wrench that went up to 250 ft-lb from O’reilley’s and I was missing the 12mm Allen socket, which I bought from Harbor Freight. As for functionality, we will see very soon, but the finish was excellent.

Installed on 2019 Ram 1500 Classic and it fit perfectly.

2020 Lexus GX460. I had to push the bracket firmly against the spare tire to align the bolts in the threaded holes already in the frame. That created some difficulty but nothing one person could not handle alone. I just need the receiver hitch for a bike rack, so no heavy towing. The price and quality seems to be sufficient for my needs.

installed in about 8 minutes. the bolt is metric so be ready to have a metric socket. the 3/4 doesn't work, it'll just strip it. it seems very sturdy as it mounts to the actual frame of the bumper structure. i recommend it.

This hitch doesn’t fit if you have the OEM steel rear bumper. I have a Rubicon X and it will not fit. Only fits jeeps with the plastic rear bumper

Todo bien con el producto, llegó en tiempo y hasta dentro de otra caja poco más protegida para asegurar su integridad. Sin embargo, de entre todos los componentes descritos en la página y que venían "incluidos", faltaron las específicas tuercas que señalo en la imagen. Las rondanas grandes SÍ estaban ya, pero no venía ningún juego de tuercas con sus respectivas rondanas más pequeñas. Por supuesto, que esto es nefasto porque no se puede terminar la instalación sin esas piezas, y ahora tendré que irlas a conseguir por fuera. Lástima que haya pasado así en esta (mi) ocasión.
