Must have accessory for a walker
After a recent surgery I had to use a walker that did not come with a tray. Since I am the head of all the domestic chores in the house, and to keep me from wasting movements carrying one thing at a time, I needed a tray. Since this tray billed itself as fitting a Guardian walker I went with it. Hands down one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. The tray clips to the front of the walker and the tray slides to be put out of the way, or slides back, to use. The clips stayed on the front of the walker very well despite what was being carried on the tray. The tray is sturdy plastic and could handle a dinner plate, silver ware, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies etc. Now there is a limit to the amount of weight which can be put on the thing but for carting this or that around, it is perfect and easy to clean. I especially liked that the clips were easy to get off when I had to take the walker outside of the house as it does make the walker heavier than you might think because the tray is so sturdy. I also found that when the tray was in the "not used" position, I could use the edge of the tray to cart my roller mop by the handle or put a few clothes on hangers on it to be put away in the closet. The 2 downsides are that the cupholders are not very deep so only small juice glasses etc. should be put on the tray especially if you are on the move. Soda cans did fine though. Additionally, the tray is not level and has a slight slope towards you. Only fill mugs 2/3rds full so you can control what spills on the tray. If you had a plate of crackers on the tray and you are moving there is a possibly the crackers would slide onto the floor so moving slower when you have food on it, is highly advisable.

Great accessory for a walker!
This tray has been a God send! I need to use a walker for three weeks following a pelvic fracture. I feel another level of freedom and self sufficiency. The tray is adequate size to fit all my needs. I can carry my own plate of food and beverage. It has two different sizes of cup holders to allow for varying sizes of drinks or other items. Upon rising in the morning, I flip it in position to carry my Ipad, iPhone, etc. to walk to our living area. I use it throughout the day to carry a variety of items, especially while working in the kitchen. It attaches quickly and is plenty sturdy for my needs. Highly recommend!

Most effective walker tray on the market
I live alone and needed a walker tray that I can always have"up" There are many options in the market and this one. I find is most effective. 1. The placement of the tray is perfect. It is half way in front of the walker and half " in" . 2. The cup holder placements are perfect: when in use, the weight of the cup and liquid will not tip over your walker. Stays fully supported. 3. The tray can be stowed down. It is light enough that it can remain permanently on my walker without being in the way. 4. Compared to other trays on the market: A. If the cup holders are on the outter edge, the heavy cup and content in the cup could tilt over the walker B. If the tray is completely on top/ enclosed in the walker, the balance/ support for the patient is not there as the tray is in front of the patient, vs supporting the weight of patient. Best use case for this type of tray is just to use the walker as a mini table, but not to transport food. This tray is perfect because when the tray is in use, the patient can use the walker as intended- walker supports the weight of the patient while transporting food, phone, water bottle, laptop. I was introduced to this while I was in rehab. I looked for alternatives because this is costly for me. After researching, I decidesd to purchase this specific model because it is most well-designed for my needs- transporting food/ other stuff while using the walker.

Very helpful if using walker, not perfect but does make a difference
This tray is helpful and attaches to standard walker. It’s not perfect. It’s easy to install to standard walker. Flips up when not in use. Cup holders are NOT deep enough. The tray just tilt back towards you and does not sit level. Still allows me to have a place for phone, dinner plate etc . Cup holders are not deep enough so my cup of coffee sloshes out when walking. Bottles of water don’t stay standing up as cup holders is too shallow. Cleans up nicely. I’m glad to have it and do recommend that if you will have a walker for more than a few days that you get this . Hope that manufacturer changes it in the future to deeper cup holders and for tray to not tip back towards you.

Great tray but not level, it should be level or adjustable
Great Guardian walker tray but definitely NOT level! It tilts considerably toward the rear and cannot be adjusted. Liquid sloshes out of glasses and glasses fall over. This is a design flaw since the standard Guardian walker uprights it clamps to are not vertical. I drilled out the bottom rivits on the folding arms and drilled new holes about 1/2 inch straight behind the current ones so it aligns close to level and reattached with small bolts with 2 nuts each so the nuts are safely locked. The whole thing took 30 minutes. The manufacturer should fix this out of box or allow for level adjustment.

Very helpful!
This thing is amazing! I recently had knee surgery, this allowed me to carry things from room to room it folds down if needed. I only wish it sat perfectly level.

Ok, I figured out why it tips. It’s not an issue with the tray, it’s how the walker is set up.
I tried various things to fix the problem I was having with the tray always tipping. After lots of time and effort I found it was the length of the back legs of the walker, or rather, how those legs were positioned. I got my walker in the hospital directly after knee replacement surgery. Whoever set it up positioned the back legs to be much shorter than the front legs. It was an easy fix to just make the back legs longer by changing which little metal pegs they were set up on. Finally after two months of recovery, I can move my walker and not have stuff tip over and fall off. You have no idea how much of a victory that was. I really love this tray. It clipped on the front easily and can be slid to the front to be out of the way. The two spaces for cups and soda cans etc work fine. The smaller one just fits a 12 oz soda can perfectly and the larger space is slightly over 3 and a half inches across so it fits a mug that’s 3 and a half inches wide at the base. Having this tray has helped make things easier for me to do things for myself.
