12W Motion Sensor Led Light Bulbs, 100W Equivalent E26 6500K 1000Lm

I have had this for 8 years and I have never had a problem with it. It is bright and it lights up a large area.

Update 4: I just put the light back in the same socket today and it is working correctly again. I don't know if it stayed on too long and the soldered contacter points heated up too much or what put it is doing what it is supposed to again. Will check on the first light that went bad as well. May take it apart and see if something is burnt. Also, the seller never contacted me about update #3Update 3: This is really a 1 star right now. I have not heard from the seller after over a week since writing update 2. They contacted me quickly after the first review to correct the problem. I will give them 5 stars now to increase the probability that someone will see this review.Update 2: One of the original lights purchased has just now started to stay on constantly just like the one in the original review this light is in a different room from the original one that wouldn't turn off as well. Once the seller sends me another replacement, I will update the review again.Update 1: Seller was able to send me a new light bulb. I have tested it for 3 weeks now and it works fine like the others.Original review:Bought 3 packs. One light stays on. Moved it to sockets that others work correctly in. Still stays on. Think maybe the chip is bad. Also if you want to use these with fixtures, make sure it's only one socket. They wont work close to each other. You can also gently pry off the motion sensor, disconnect it from its cable connector and add wire to the pins to run the motion sensor wherever you want it to be. Albeit with wires showing.

For my needs, I’m giving it an initial YES! I am using it in an outside light, with a glass cover, and it works immediately. A sensor light for movement during dusk to dawn. Since I just installed it, I will revisit this review if it doesn’t last long. It comes in a 2-pack.

I did not reorder. I just happened to buy the same thing twice. The first time- you can read what I wrote- if you want.I am updating because Amazon did that "rate my purchase thing." I did not know I bought the same thing.Now I write:. They are still working, work well and are very bright.Where a consumer installs them is important where they install them.In closets they work great- open the door and the light comes on and goes off: I have no idea if the light goes off in 5 seconds or 30 seconds.Now in room it is a bit different. I have a dim wash room with windows to the east. In the morning I have to put my hand over the light to turn it on. Probably, around 10:00 am I walk in and the light goes on.Now I get-it has to do with the ambient light and motion.So I am very happy with these bulbs now.I never expect LED's to last for 20 years as stated at 3 hours blah blah- the LE diodes last probably eons longer than a human lifetime: The supporting electronics JUST don't.So I wanted to replace my iRainy PIR from 2017 which started strobing. At the time I ordered it was not a ailable and......This one has good ratings. It is not as sensitive now as the iRainy was when I walk near it.That may change in autumn and winter. The other considerations are: This light is 100 (really good bright) watt versus 60 or whatever and I think I almost paid half what I paid for iRainy.I just wish it more sensitive- everyone notices that, "It just does not come on like it used to."

Update: Just realized I bought this in May of 2021 and it’s now March of 2023 and it’s still going. I had to raise my 4 star review to 5. Even though for us it detects motion from a shorter distance , it’s been a huge convenience as it automatically lights up and we can get into our place safely and conveniently without having to reach for a light switch and also alerts us if someone is at the door as we can see the light through our kitchen window. I still have the unused second bulb in storage. Would definitely recommend this product.Older review:Bought this for our the front door of our apartment so we wouldn't have to turn the light off and on when taking our dog out at night, etc. Bought an adapter from Home Depot which fit perfectly. I double checked the measurements required before purchasing the adapter.Although it doesn't detect distant movement 8-10 feet away it does work for what we intended. It has turned on randomly a handful of times we think due to some neighbor motion but unsure. It stays on for a bit and turns off in a reasonable amount of time.Our kitchen window is right next to it and we walk back and forth and turn lights off and on and the motion detector does not react as others have said.We had to remove the glass cover that goes with the light in order for this bulb to work.

I really wanted to love these motion sensing light bulbs, but I should payed closer attention to the description. “Built-in Dusk to Dawn Sensor: This smart bulb will automatically switches ON at dusk when the motion sensor is activated and OFF at dawn.” What I didn’t realize is just how dark it must be before the light turns on.I have one installed on the front porch. I would like it to activate in the hour or two before the sun sets and maybe for an hour after sunrise when it still dark enough that a little extra light would be nice. The real problem is the other light is in my laundry room. When I am carrying a load of laundry I don’t want to set down the basket to turn on the light. The problem is the light coming in from the hall is bright enough that the laundry room light doesn’t come on day or night. I thought it was defective until I turned off the hall light. This motion sensing light just isn’t going to work for my needs. I am going to have to search for one that doesn’t include a dawn sensor.Update:I am increasing from 3 Stars to 4.I have been using these bulbs in the fixtures at my front and back doors. They are bright, reliable and always turn on when movement is present. My only complaint is that they stop coming on at dawn and dusk. I wish I had a way to adjust the sensitivity to ambient light.

I put two of these bulbs in my garage eight years ago and they have worked perfectly! One of them is still working!

This product is excellent

Bought this 2 bulb pack for a closet. I left the cover off the light fixture so the bulb could sense movement and the first bulb worked great for 2 weeks. After that I could turn it on using the switch which allowed it to light for 30 sec then it timed out but wouldn't turn on when motion was present, no matter how hard I danced or how good my moves this light would not 'see' me. Second bulb didn't sense at all. Tried multiple lamps with same results. Pretty sure i installed them rightAt $45 for 2 it's a very expensive item and one would expect better quality and results. Seller was quick to approve return but I was required to pay shipping of over $17. Hopefully I get credit for that. Disappointed, loved it when it worked.

It works great, but for its motion detection to work, the object needs to be very close to it. It can only detect from just within a few feet (like 10 to 15 feet away). I even removed my lighting fixture cover and leave the bulb completely exposed.

It worked as expected while it last. Each bulb died right after three months of usage.
