I love this medicine cabinet! It is extremely well made and looks GORGEOUS! It makes the bathroom feel like a spa. The doors are soft close and mirrored on the back. The chest is also mirrored at the back of the interior. On the exterior, it has mirrored panels on both sides. It is wonderfully roomy inside and has made an enormous, luxurious difference to my bathroom. I would recommend you opt for the expert installation. It's great value because you never know what you run into during the install process. I chose the expert installation and it took the two professionals a while to complete. They were meticulous and did a fabulous job. The only disappointment was that one of the doors is chipped at the corner. The installer suggested we file it if we don't want to wait for a new door and for him to come back. (The hardware is very fancy and intricate). Have to decide soon what to do since we got it almost a month ago, but we love it. It's expensive, but worth every penny.UPDATE: It's been 4 months since I wrote the review above and in addition to the chip, suddenly the door wouldn't close properly. So I contacted the seller and it's unbelievable but THEY SENT ME A NEW DOOR! This is incredible customer service! My thanks to the company. Amazon, you have a fantastic company here that makes a phenomenal quality product and gives amazing customer service. You should make them an Amazon Choice forever.

This is a stunning medicine cabinet. I am very happy with it!A few notes:- The unit dimensions are as described. The same company also has another model that is 26 inches tall, so the top reviewer who stated that the dimensions are wrong perhaps ordered/received a different model. Not relevant in my case.- The quality of the unit is fantastic. Very heavy too. The base unit is made of thick, sturdy aluminum, the mirrors and glass are nice and thick. Packaging was pretty solid.- Shipping this, I was worried about broken pieces (this has a looot of glass). The unit was packaged very well! I had 1 side mirror broken, but since I installed it recessed, the side mirrors are actually not used, so no issues there.- If you're going to have this cabinet recessed, be aware that this is a MAJOR project. You'd most likely need to move sink vent pipes, cut at least 3 studs, add headers to support the wall, and at the same time run the risk of damaging the back wall, since it would no longer have studs to support it over a long distance, also most likely you'd need to move electrical lines and plugs as well. Obviously, this can be done and I did it as a DIY-er, but it's a lot of work. Installing this just hanging on the wall is a lot easier (1-2 hours of work vs 1-2 weeks of work).- All in all, I'm thrilled with this cabinet and am very happy with it. It really makes the space look bigger.- One thing to consider is that if recessing into a standard wall, the bigger mirror requires you to cut out at least 2 studs (3 total with the smaller unit), which will weaken the drywall on the room behind it. I hadn't considered that initially. If I were to do it again, I'd probably just buy 3 separate units and install them side by side. This allows for extra support studs between each unit and I wouldn't worry as much about the back room drywall. With that said, the cabinet does look gorgeous when opened up with all the mirrored surfaces. Love it!

The product itself is beautiful and useful. However, it's the wrong size. When I was shopping for it, I was paying attention to the product descriptions that included dimensions of the item so that I could purchase one that best fit my design needs and aesthetics of the project. In my search, I found one that had the dimensions I wanted (or so I thought). I did not notice that the dimensions listed in the product description were wrong until after I had begun installation. The ACTUAL dimensions are listed in the name of the product (this particular product is 26" in height - NOT 36"). So, it's my own fault for not noticing the discrepancy before I even purchased it, but I should think that vendors would pay more attention to detail when posting their products to ensure that conflicting information does not mislead potential buyers.

I bought this EXTRA LARGE cabinet because of the amount of toiletries and sundries I have in my master bath. Two things to mention... It comes in two pieces. One weighs 60+ pounds, and the double door unit weighs 100 pounds. I would advise hiring a handyman to help install because of the weight. I would also advise to mount a 1/2" thick plywood backing to the wall studs to assure a better mount (much sturdier!). The shipper did NOT crate the item and one of the side mirrors and one 40" shelf was broken in transit/delivery and I have not received any help from the shipper or the carrier. The side mirror was not needed due to the way it is mounted in an alcove. I still love it because it is VERY durable and looks great, functions great. The cost is WAY BELOW what you would pay for something this size locally ($2,000+). I still have no regrets...

Great medicine cabinet!! Well finished! Looks gorgeous in remodeled bathroom. Wonderful storage!!Unfortunately a few shelves were broken & one of outside side pieces. There were enough extra, we didn’t need to call.It was delivered 7 days late by a semi. The semi truck driver was very rude. As I went out to check the product to make sure it wasn’t damaged & sign for it, he said “sorry lady, your husband signed for this & it's too late for you to check. Not my responsibility anymore. Get out of my way b/c I have to go.” Wow!!
