Do not use for microphone
These are wired wrong. The microphone signal is carried over the drain shield. That means the pick up ALL electrical noise. They are worthless

Didn’t work with Rode lavalier even though it’s trrs
The trrs extension did not work with my Rode microphone even though the microphone works perfectly on its own. Disappointed. Returning this tomorrow and buying a Rode extension,

Stopped working after 1 use!

Back to the cord
After a few cordless microphones failing, I went back to the cord. I teach math and often record lessons from my SmartBoard. This cable extends my corded mic to reach my board which is not close to my computer.I am thankful to no longer record a lesson only to find the sound cut out or was drowned out by crackling from the cordless mics.

It works so far. I just got it and it worked for my headphones and mic.

Seems like a quality cord but has a buzzing/humming interference noise when used with a headset
