Fast rolling on road, very grippy off road.

Dont listen to any review that says these can be set up as tubeless. I had no success. This was confirmed by the bike workshop who stated they had loads of difficulties and failures. Though not billed as a pure tubeless the information is very misleading. Only buy if you are putting a tube in.

I mainly bought this tyre for its aesthetics to get that classic 90s retro look on my hardtail 29er.I've used this on a casual XC trail loop around the Malvern Hills medium route. It rolled and gripped well on loose dry terrain.I've fitted 2.4" Ardent front with a 2.2" Ikon rear and for me it the setup is good.I also use my bike on short daily commutes to work. Bearing in mind this is an MTB tyre and not a hybrid it's okay.

Very good quality tyres for my mountain bike as I already have two on my bike and just wanted to get a spare tyre that folded up and was easy to store away whilst I'm using my bike for long distance riding

Look great bags of grip for the trail not too bad on tarmac either , They shed crud and water nicely but thick heavy mud can clog them up . Great XC tire thou

Brilliant tyre it gives my bike a retro look

These are Maxxis' middle of the road tyres in terms of tread pattern - not too nobble not too slick. The grip is better than any standard factory tyre (off road) you'll find but being wire beaded you can not run tubeless which means you'll have to run these at slightly higher PSI resulting in less grip over more technical trails.They aren't the fastest on the road either and at close to £100 for the pair it's probably best not to ware them out on the tarmac anyway which does happen surprisingly quickly....

Habe die Reifen sehr schnell erhalten. Reifen ausgeputzt, aufgezogen, befüllt, aufgepumpt und festgestellt das die Reifenflanken ein Sieb sind. Luft ist nach 2 Tagen komplett raus gewesen. Also nochmal und nochmal das ganze von vorne und wieder hat die Luft nicht gehalten. Nach intensiver suche im Netz, den Reifen mit viel Bremsenreiniger und spüli sauber gemacht, besonders die Flanken und innen und dann nochmal von vorne (mittlerweile sehr viel teure dichtmilch verballert) und siehe da die Luft hält. Leider musste ich extra neue tublessmilch kaufen da ich einen ganzen Liter verballern musste weil der reifen aufgrund von einem öligen schmier auf und im Reifen die Luft nicht halten konnte. Die Dichtmiclh hat einfach keine verbindung zum Reifen aufgebaut. somit wurden die Reifen sehr teuer. Jetzt wo alles hält, ist es ein super reifen mit viel Laufruhe und angenehmen seitenhalt. Leider nur 3 Sterne wegen der Problematik im vorfeld

スキンウォールの好き嫌いがあるかもしれませんが、私はレトロ感がミックスされてオシャレに仕上がるので大変気に入っています。転がりも良くスイスイ進みビックリしています。走って数分で人気な理由が分かりました。
