Bought a few of these harnesses as foster for local charity. They’re really sturdy and feel secure. Can sometimes be big at the front depending on the dog. Looks great. Easy to put on and comfortable for the dog. Loved the fact it can be double leashed.

Fits well, functions as supposed to. Bright enough we can see the dog when out, sturdy with additional padding to stop rubbing. Out border terrier hasn't managed to escape this yet which is a bonus.

The quality of the product is good. The look is good and it is not overly bulky so should sit nicely. My only gripe is the sizing. They say to order I size up if near the limit. I did this and it was totally too big. My pup is still in the “bulking” stage so will likely grow into it but it is annoying. Having said that I do look forward to when he can fit into it and I will be buying the size down until he grow a little more. I like the double leaf attachment option. This is good for training the dog and aids safety and stability.

I love Truelove harnesses, I bought one years ago for my medium sized dog, and recently bought a bigger one for my Irish setter. The quality of the materials, the solidity of the fasteners, and the materials used are excellent. It is easy to get on and off, easy to connect the leash, and it does reduce pulling. The initial adjustment of the straps to get the fit right is a bit tricky as the harness is so well made and the materials are a really good quality. Once it’s done, it’s done and you can rest assured the harness is super secure and comfy for your dog. The padding and the reflective material are both really great additions.

Got this for our new dog - and it's great - fits well, well made, easy to take on and off and is tough enough that when she gets too excited and wants to run after something, the handle works well for extra control and keeping her close.

Update: 1 year later - this harness is still going strong, used daily on long country walks, little to no wear or tear as yet, has been an excellent investment!Original review:This is a really well made sturdy harness. If I picked this off the shelf and seen the quality and the price, I would snap this up! It’s really good!I have looked at a lot of harnesses, both online and on the shelf and took the gamble on this one as it was a really good price and also because I got fed up looking while my poor dog was out growing his current one too quickly while I read reviews! So I took the plunge and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but wow was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived!First impression – has some weight to it (the rings and ladder buckles are actually metal, not plastic, really pleased with this as I worry about a harness breaking) and it is really very well made, you can tug at the rings and see there is no give, stitching is strong and neat. The inside is slightly padded and you can see it is made for the comfort of your dog (I have taken some pictures of the underside to show this, no raw edges etc that could rub on the dogs skin or cause discomfort)The reflective parts (piping and stitching) are ultra-reflective, this is really important feature for us as we walk our dog on country roads sometimes in the dark. I do think to maintain the reflective quality it will have to be washed down occasionally in case mud etc mask the reflective stitching & piping.Dogs first impression! – our dog was used to a strap harness and before that a light mesh harness so this was relatively heavy by comparison. I will say he wasn’t impressed at first; he refused to move, I guess this was heavy with much more cover than he was used to. But once we got him out with it he was fine and got used it quickly.Adjusting – I know some of the reviews say this can be difficult, it can be adjusted when on if your dog will stay still, if not then it might be a little bit more difficult but like the other reviewers say, when you have it to the right size that’s it done. We were able to do the adjustments while he wore it.Size – bought medium for large King Charles, on largest setting fits nicely, if he grows, we will have to upsize but for now fits comfortably. This harness fits over the neck and fastens at each side on the chest.Clip fastens at the side are plastic but seem sturdy. All other rings and buckles are metal. There is a nice little hand hold feature on the top of the harness, not sure how useful this is for a small or medium dog but maybe good if you were sitting down. On the medium size it is good for 3 fingers, not a hand but presumably on larger sizes this becomes bigger as the harness size gets bigger.To summarise, we are very pleased with this purchase, it’s a well-made and sturdy piece, colour is great, reflective features work well and this is well worth the money. Buying the matching lead now!I will update on the durability shortly, we take our dog on long daily walks and he is eager to get going until the last so this harness will be put through its paces very very quickly!

I bought this for my 35kg Labrador, she is getting older and I didn’t want to keep her on collar and lead to avoid laryngeal paralysis, where collars can damage the throat. So this harness was recommended in a Facebook group several times. It fits her well and iscthe ‘Y’ style which is recommend for barrel chested dogs. It goes over the head and clips up behind her front legs.It is well padded and has two clips for top or front lead attachments.She hates it and runs away but once it’s on (and now she’s used to it) she walks well with it on. We had a period of 3/4 days where she walked so slowly in protest to the harness and wouldn’t run or sniff or anything 😳We adjusted it to fit a bit snugger and now she’s fine, runs and plays and rolls in the grass. It has a handy handle on top which is handy when shes off lead to grab her if neededI’d recommend this harness

So good I bought another. Our dog had outgrown her puppy harness, so we bought another one. This harness impresses with its sturdiness, its functional and flexibility and of course its quality. Will buy again.

My Shitzu poodle mix is about 21lbs and this works perfect! Awesome adjustability and durability! Helps not choke my dog when he's pulling hard. The harness is strong and keeps him under control. Great value and perfect fitment! Extra clips give you options. Helps with pulling. Love this and so does my dog!

Although it is slightly too big for my puppy at the time I bought it, but my hopes is that my puppy will grow into it and if she doesn't, I'm very happy with my purchase because it's a very good quality harness and it will and should last her for a very long time. It's sturdy. If you dog is a small breed and smaller than 11 pounds and full grown, this harness will most likely be too big because at its shortest length it will be too long. I'm thankful that this harness is made very well. If you're wondering if this harness is a good and safe buy for your beloved dog, it is, but be sure to measure your dog to be sure that the neck and girth will fit either the shortest lengths or the longest lengths. It does fit slightly bigger, but my puppy is almost 8 months old so she still has some time before she's fully grown. In time she may grow more or she may be done growing, regardless whether if she's still growing or done growing I'm confident that this harness will last for a long time.
