Great controller for PC
This controller has been amazing. It’s super responsive and comfortable in my hands for a long period of time. The weight isn’t too heavy but it feels sturdy. The software and button mapping is elite. It’s also a really good looking controller and feels like a quality item. It’s definitely a good value for the price! I would buy again if I need to but I have had no issues with it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Exceptional Controller for Serious Gamers!
The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro is a standout in every sense, offering performance and features that take your gaming to the next level. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the tactile feel of the D-pad and buttons. The D-pad is crisp and responsive, making inputs fast and accurate, whether you’re navigating through menus or executing precise combos in a fighting game. The buttons have an incredibly satisfying click, offering the perfect balance of responsiveness and feedback. One of the most unique aspects of this controller is how Razer has incorporated their signature gaming mice buttons into the controller design. These buttons are ultra-responsive, just like on Razer’s top-tier mice, allowing for rapid inputs with great accuracy. The clicky, tactile feel is perfect for intense gameplay, making every input feel sharp and precise. The revolutionary placement of the back buttons is another highlight. They’re designed for effortless access, so you can map key functions without needing to adjust your grip, which adds fluidity and speed to your gameplay. The Hull effect sticks are also a game-changer. These sticks offer incredible precision, and because they eliminate the friction issues of traditional analog sticks, they maintain their performance over time. The control you get from them is incredibly smooth and precise, which makes a noticeable difference in both casual and competitive gaming. Another highlight is the phenomenal trigger stops on the LT and RT triggers. These adjustable stops allow for shorter trigger pulls, giving you faster firing rates in shooters and more control in games where speed matters. Switching between quick-tap and full-press modes is a breeze, and it enhances the versatility of the controller. Razer has also addressed the stick drift issue with a firmware update, and after updating the controller, it has worked flawlessly for me. This quick fix demonstrates Razer’s dedication to delivering top-quality products and ensuring a great user experience. In summary, the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro is in a class of its own. With its precise D-pad, responsive buttons, revolutionary back button placement, smooth Hull effect sticks, phenomenal trigger stops, and the incorporation of Razer's iconic mouse buttons, this controller delivers everything a serious gamer could want. It's a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience

Cool hardware, but only thing consistent is Razer’s inconveniences
Ok, Out of the box I immediately set deadzones to zero. Upon checking found there is an inherent centering issue that causes heavy drift reading with no way to recalibrate. Pros: Feel of buttons are great, tactile, responsive, good placement. The “feel” of the controller is one of the bests. The trigger locks to enable a mouse click tactile pull is satisfying to say the least. All these features are great enough for me to over look other features not given at this price range ie - tension adjustment, full button mapping, lackluster app interface, polling rate to name a few. Major con: However, having out of box centering issues this high is just kind of a hard one to look over. All HE sticks do have centering performance concerns. I just wish this would center closer to 0,0 (I know it’s impossible to get true 0,0 reading). But no matter what I do, direction I flick it, it re-centers back to these values. I’d have to widen the dead zones, sacrificing a substantial amount responsiveness which defeats the purpose of buying a performance controller. Maybe I’ll try to exchange and hope I get something better, but if it’s worse, it’s a full refund. Will update review if I do. But not to hopeful as more research, this is a more common than a one off situation. UPDATE: GOT A NEW REPLACEMENT (3.5-3.9 Stars max) Firmware updater released on PC. But now can be updated on Xbox App however the app sucks. (Edit 2025 new update no longer supports Xbox app firmware update must use pc anpp again..wtf tired of this company) Upon launching app a progress bar starts loading a percentage w/ the message do not unplug. No indication it’s updating. Apparently it did. But while I couldn’t verify if it’s the latest firmware. I already lost confidence in the software(& probably the Razer brand too) and updated through PC anyway. Major gripe about the PC updater: it doesn’t confirm if you already have the latest firmware. It just flashes and installs… is this freeware from github or a hardware gaming company w a $200 controller? Smh Pros: quality weight and feel, rgb(if you even care for this?), tactile mouse click triggers, a really decent clicky gated d-pad (better than most), a lot of extra decently placed buttons that feel good, adjustable haptic, multiple profile config saves, easy quick instant button mapping. Carrying case. Cons: app, firmware update required, updated app didn’t include a calibration option, Outdated 2020 Hall Effect tech used in 2024 when newer VRS is more economical, durable, accurate, and energy efficient. No adjustable tension for a $200 price tag. Only two extra plastic thumb sticks, why not just throw in two identical pairs? They’re plastic anyways. You still need a dongle. Face buttons could feel “mushy” to some, And I could be wrong, but I don’t think it’s Bluetooth as they advertise. Size, if only it was a couple centimeters larger it would probably rest perfectly in most hands. It’s not switch pro small but with back paddle placement it can be noticeable. Biggest con. Razer as a company is incompetent. Do not buy if you do not have a windows pc. Razer is company who creates an Xbox controller with an Xbox app, but does not push firmware updates through the Xbox. You have to download a separate software on a PC then update firmware through there cuz if you don’t, it won’t allow you to use the Xbox app! This is after a year of use, and while hardware is ok, I’ve grown more tired with this company as it’s a controller with inconveniences that start to pile up which is no excuse at this price range. Save your money.

The best Xbox/PC controller, bar none.
The best PC/Xbox controller bar none. This controller has spoiled me with the extra shoulder bumpers in between the number and triggers. As someone who doesn't use back triggers (which this one has massively improved upon from the first two versions), the bumpers are something I use all the time, particularly Soulslikes where I can map dodge/roll to it, or shooters to map reload and crouch, and never have to move a finger. It's perfectly placed where the tip of your finger resting on the top of the controller will be able to press it. I wish more controllers would have these buttons, it's non-negotiable for me now. Mapping buttons to back/bumper buttons is simple, just hold the macro button, hold the button you want copied, then press the back/bumper. You can also save 4 profiles and hot swap them on the fly by pressing macro+A/B/X/Y, the light will flash the appropriate color to let you know it swapped. Build quality is excellent, nice and sturdy. Battery life lasts through several weekend sessions, and the usual Razer RGB is very subdued, only the logo in the middle lights up. Of course, it comes with a long USB controller for charging and wired play, and several thumb sticks to suit your preference. It also comes with a nice carrying case that can hold all of it, and I'd feel it'd do a nice job protecting everything if dropped. You can use the Razer Synapse app to refine the controllers settings like dead zones, but I don't get that granular, so I can't report on how useful it is in practice. The only thing holding this back from perfection is that there are times the controller throws a fit and disconnects and reconnects randomly. This is using the 2.4Ghz dongle they include on PC. This only happens about 10% of the time, and firmware updates seems to have helped a bit, but the 10% it does happen, it's incredibly frustrating. If you can look past that, like I did, you'll be amazed at how nice this controller is, and I think it's definitely worth the price premium for it, even with the connection issue. Coming from the original Wolverine, it's nice to see that Razer put a lot of effort into improving it in almost every way.

Join the cult of RAZR
I've been using one of these controllers for a year. You'll never be able to go back to normal controllers once you've experienced TMR. It's a great controller with a couple of problems. I love the TMR sticks I love the way all the buttons feel mechanical buttons are supreme. The internals hold up very well. Now for the flaws they are as follows. It's got a poor build quality on the outside if you buy razr products you know what I mean. The d-pad is awful it needs to be looser and at the same time still push all the buttons it does not seem to register inputs after a while as well. It feels mostly it would seem due to how mechanically bound the d-pad is. It likes to disconnect around other wireless controllers as well not the stock Xbox one but other wireless controllers like it it will fight with over the signal. Basically all in all if you're here looking for something that's very very good and a definite upgrade over the elite 2 this is it.

Worth it if you like having extra buttons.
I would give it 4.5 stars but I can’t. I really like it, the only issue I have is I have bigger hands and it feels small so my fingers are completely curled like a dead spider to reach the extra buttons. It’s a comfortable and convenient controller. I like the extra bumpers but they occasionally stick, I have my left extra bumpers set for the “BACK” button to the left of the Xbox logo. It sticks and (in Helldivers 2 at least) opens my chat instead of the map so you have to be conscious about that (I don’t know if that’s me holding it or not pressing it and releasing it fast enough but it feels like a regular push of a button and not holding). It’s really nice that you can swap between modes so you don’t accidentally push buttons when just grabbing the controller or watching tv instead of playing. When wired* it runs very fast and smooth and I have no issues other than kinda sticky keys( which could just be me). The A, B, X, and Y buttons are different than a regular controller and have a nice recoil and tactile feeling when pressing on them. The D-pad is really sensitive and feels like a stick with how fluid it moves compared to standard controllers, the tactile response in the D-pad is also nice. The triggers feel nice and the switch to make it a shorter travel can be really nice. I haven’t used the dongle yet as my headset uses a dongle and I’ve had some slight interference between them when they’re both plugged in (one in the back and one in front) so instead I wire the controller and dongle my headset and there’s 0 issues. (The video is trying to show how close the buttons are to your palm and how curled your fingers are. It’s a pretty comfy controller especially for how small it is but you have to have a good grip and find a good spot so you can grip it.) The only other problem I have is that I don’t have a scaphoid b. and can’t bend my wrist so curling my fingers to hold the controller hurts after a about 2 hours with my hand cramping up but usually only takes about 20 minutes to relax and then I can keep going, if I don’t grip the entire time I don’t have much of a problem. It feels like solid build quality and materials, it is pricey but I think it’s worth it.

Great hardware, bad software.
This would be the BEST Xbox controller on the market if it wasn't for how many software issues this thing have me in the almost two years I used it. Disconnects aren't uncommon enough in wireless mode, and in wired, the cable has no support and was useless within a few months. I had to replace the cable entirely. Ended up replacing this with a different brand because down on the d-pad went out entirely. Cannot figure out why looking at the motherboard, and their warranty is pretty short.

Quality build; feels great to use
After two months of heavy use, I'm comfortable saying this is by far the best xbox controller I've ever owned. The build quality is excellent. The controller is heavy and sturdy and feels great to use. I've had every first party controller and several other brands and this is my favorite and it's not even close. It's expensive but I think worth it.

It has pretty lights
My husband loves this controller. He has big hands (🤣) and finds the size and shape better than the XSX controller and the Elite/Elite 2. The light up Razor above the Xbox button is pretty, my husband likes the feel of the triggers and buttons compared to the Elite and none of the buttons stick. It's expensive but so is the Elite. The Elite seems to have stick drift between 3 to 12 months and we've had to exchang several, all before warranty luckily. If this dies at a year or just after, I'll be livid. Only time will tell but for now my husband loves it.

Excelente Control premium
