Bit sizes what are they in inchs

The tool has 3 jaws that open or close when the chuck key is inserted and turned, much like any standard drill that operates with a chuck key. If you want to know what size shank it will accept for tools; when closed, the 3 jaws completely touch. I've put an 18 gauge drill bit in mine, which is just under 1/16" and it holds fine. The largest drill bit mine would hold is with an 11/64" shank/bit, or just over 3/16". Simple answer: 1/16" to 3/16" shanks. Hope this helps.

where can you get a manual? the one that comes with it is not worth reading.

I don't think their is much in the way of an alternative manuel for the specific flexi-shaft grinder. I can tell you other then the specs ( I.e. ....size of moter, max. Bit size. Their all pretty much the same. The Manuel that came with it was poorly written but it contains about all their is to know. These are basically simple machines, not much to explain. This is a pretty good grinder. I use mine everyday and have had no problems, the only thing I would change is the foot pedal is just ok. Hope this helps.
