Works great on pool liner
Had to patch 8 holes from pinhole to 4" tear before filling dog had jumped in and made them and the patched another 2 about an 1" after pool was filled on these 2 I waited for about day and a half and went back over their edges with the cement just to play it safe so far nothing has leaked and I still have more than have of the kit left I may actually go over all the patches with an oversized one at the end of the season so it's ready for next summer hopefully this helps someone

Blue patches were missing. But the transparent ones worked like magic. Great product.
I was really nervous, because after draining and refilling my inground pool, the liner tour tour about 2 inches in one corner and the water kept draining at the rate of a half a foot a day. I have a 20,000 gallon pool and I was afraid my water bill would kill me to try and refill every time. I got a pool repair guy to come by and he said I would need to spend $3500 on a new liner. I thought I would try this patch kit as well stopgap do you like to change the liner. But now, dispatch is working so well I am keeping my current lineup since it still looks good and my pool isn’t leaking anymore. My only complaint is that I only got the transparent patches there were no blue patches in the package.

Wasted time and money
The product arrived as advertised however when I opened the box the smell of glued was very strong. I didn't think much of it at the time but found out the next day when I tried to patch my pool liner that the glued was dried up. For that reason I can't tell you all if the product works or doesn't work. Complete waste of time and money.

you may need to kits if you want extra glue.
I know it's not Amazon's fault! But, when I rec'd this the glue can was about 1/2 full. I would have taken aphoto but was already in the pool to make the repair when I opened the can. I feel a little mislead. It is a good repair kit though. Just wish the can had been full.

It's a difficult job and will take trial and error
Pros:-Comes as advertised with clear patch, blue patch and glue can with applicator-Shipped properly packaged and no damage/crush-Took a bunch of trial and error but ultimately looks OK after 24 hrs - I doubled and over layered to ensure that it doesn't come apart too quickly within the seasonCons:-I don't think this will be a permanent fix - I have a spare kit for when it breaches-Includes instructions but they are very sparse at best-The patch is folded in the box and you will need to let it rest, or use a hairdryer to smooth it out before you work with it-The glue once applied to the patch (if you use it for a large area as instructed to double the size of the rip/tear) will IMMEDIATELY start to crimp the patch making it very very difficult/messy to handle-The seller only includes 2 clear patches so if you mess up you'll have to order another kit-Once applied to vinyl liner you will need to VERY QUICKLY smooth it out and make sure the edges are glued down because the glue starts to cure almost immediately and makes it impossible and destructive to the liner to try and reposition itAdvice:-Watch an online video how to do the repair before you get started-Wear a pair of disposable gloves-Use a hard plastic or equivalent clean, hard surface to apply glue to your patch - don't do it on grass/cement or other place so you don't contaminate the glue and patch-If possible do the entire procedure/repair exactly where you have the tear in the vinyl liner so your glue and patch don't become a screaming mess as you try to move from another place (patio/kitchen/etc.) to the repair site-Very difficult/impossible to apply under water - drain some of the water to the tear if possible and dry it off/clean itGood luck - this is a job that takes a few trial and error to get right - buy more than one kit to save yourself the aggravation!

A test of marital trust
Ok, so when it says you can use this underwater, be thoughtful about where under the water you need to use it. We realized after opening our pool that we had a tear on the floor of the liner. My husband tried to patch it once, doing the swim-down-and-kick-like-hell-and-use-your-foot-to-smooth-it-out method. It stuck, but water was still slowly sleeping out.So I gave up and and called Eric the Pool Dr, recommended by my neighbor. Turns out Pool Dr sold his business, but talked me through the process: you have to cut the patch 2-3x the size of the hole, slather it like crazy and fold it over. Then swim down, use something to hold yourself down, and use a plastic putty knife to get all the bubbles out.So, one afternoon we tried again. First we had to pull off the old patch, and it was on there pretty good, so the stuff sticks! We sunk a kettle bell, my husband put on a pair of our kids' crappy goggles, and I prepped the patch while he thought about his strategy and did some recon missions. Our method required me to put pressure on his back/butt, HOLDING HIM DOWN UNDER THE WATER, while he opened the patch and placed it, then grasped the kettle bell with one hand and used the puttly knife to get out all the air bubbles with the other. This process required coming up for breath a few times, each time with me subsequently pushing him back under the water. We have been married for 17 years. This was a true test of the trust in our marriage. It was a little bit terrifying. We appear to no longer be losing water though this ground hole, and nobody drowned. Still, I hope if we have to patch again, we will do so when the pool isn't quite full.

Works great, but be mindful.
I used this patch kit yesterday. It works as it should. The instructions are clear. Follow the instructions carefully in every step and be mindful of the process. Trim patch corners, apply completely and sparingly to patch material, wait 24 hours for complete bond. I used this product in dry conditions.

Dried Out
The glue was completly dried out. In try ti use it it just made things worse. Ended up going to local pool store and got a new kit. Not impressed.

Worked very well to patch 2 holes
We just had a new pool installed this summer. It was losing 1" per 24 hours which was very disappointing.Using some goggles and a leak detection kit, consisting of a syringe and some dye, I was able to patch 2 holes using this kit.I found that I had to use a lot of the adhesive to patch 2 holes, but it did with very well.It would be nice if it came with more adhesive.

Does it's job well
We had some small leaks in the liner (above ground pool) and it works very well. I suggest check a you tube video on how to do it.

Does the job
It does the job, but it’s a little tricky to put in on under water. It’s not really perfect, but looks like it holds. See how long it will hold, before we really need a new liner.
