These barbell clips are a great addition to my home gym. They hold weight plates securely in place while remaining easy to install and remove. One feature I particularly like is the slightly angled handles. This small design detail makes it much easier to grip the clips and slide them snugly against the weight plates, even during quick plate changes. The handles are made from a rigid plastic that initially felt stiffer than I expected. However, after using them, I found that they perform exactly as intended. Works well with any 2inch barbell

Not as fancy as other options, as you have to squeeze them pretty hard to get them over the bar. But they are secure once you do and I’ll take the savings and extra grip training over convenience, ha! I imagine for someone smaller or older, the ring lock variety might be better.

These are really nice! The home gym equipment i bought came with spring clips, i wanted a few extra, and these are much better quality then the ones that came with all my equipment

These spring clip collars fit to 2-inch barbell at my gym. They are easy to use and grip well to hold tons of weights. They are very sturdy and well-made with stainless steel material unlike other cheap plastics. I’m very confident to use these without thinking of accidents. The black color is great to look at.

Simple. Strong and functional.

When putting them on they are a little too tight on my bar I often have to use both hands to wiggle the ring part on my barbell. Eg they need to expand in radius more so I can slide it on easier, easy engineering fix

Now I'm biased, but these are genuinely solid quality overall. I had no issues using them, I just upgraded to Iron Bull Strength's plastic latch-clip variant. These worked wonderfully, I'm just a weak man with weak hands. But, no; saving your strength for the lifts is important overall, and these are easy enough to open and shut. Sliding over a 2" Olympic bar can kind of be awkward with these though, where you have to slide and then it gets caught, and you push and push. Likely user error, but these things should be and are pretty intuitive. Once they're on, they're secure. No slippage that I witnessed. Getting them off is easier than putting them on, though.
