Love this cast iron Dutch oven for baking my sourdough loaves. I tend to bake huge loaves, and this gives it the space to do so. It gets hot enough to allow the bread to rise and is a cute design and color to add to my home. While dutch ovens can be pricey, I think this is definitely worth the buy. It's a high quality dutch oven, perfect for home bakers.

I started to bake sourdough bread, and purchased this enameled cast iron bread oven, and it is great addition to my baking. It heats evenly, and retains temperature beautifully which gives perfect bakery style crust on my bread - crispy on the outside and soft inside. The enamel coating is huge plus because it is easy to clean and doesn't require seasoning. It is looks beautiful, aslo it is durable and built to last for years. It is not lightweight but very well made with great quality. My opinion it is worth it. Highly recommended!

I got this Dutch oven to try baking sourdough bread at home, and I’m so happy I did. It looks beautiful in the kitchen — the white color with the lid is really classy. The shape is great for baking. My previous Dutch ovens have had a large bottom portion and a fairly flat lid. This is fine for making stews or chilis, but it was always a challenge with sourdough bread because when I would go to take it out, I had to dump it upside down. With this design, it makes it so much easier to remove, and the shape of my loaves look more professional. The build quality is solid and the only piece that could come loose would be the screwed on metal lid handle on the very top, but it comes screwed on very well. If you're into making sourdough, or you're just getting started and are looking for a dutch oven, definitely consider this one for your endeavor! It pays off to have the perfect one for the job.

Still working out my method. I normally put parchment paper under the silicone mat, but they showed to just use the mat in the instructions, so I did that, and my bread stuck like crazy. So the second loaf was under the parchment and silicone, and it worked great as usual. Happy with the sides of the bread finally getting baked properly. Really happy with this pot, and it's very pretty. Hope to have 100% success next time!
