Marie-Grace Mini Doll (American Girl) Paperback – August 30, 2013

She's my favorite AG mini doll -- so cute! She's a good representation of the larger doll, her outfit's well-made, and her hair is of good quality. The only thing she needs is the crinoline underneath her dress (which I'm going to make), and she'll be perfect.To those who say she's too tiny: did you read the description and are you familiar with the size of the mini dolls? They're 6.5 inches tall. If you don't have an idea how big that is, get out a tape measure and check it. If you don't have a tape measure, use a dollar bill (which is about 6" long) to give you an idea of the size. It's not Amazon's fault nor American Girl's if you don't know how big (or how small) 6.5 inches is.

These dolls are darling and my granddaughter absolutely LOVES them - because they're affordable, she can have them all - the cost of doing this with the 18" dolls would be prohibitive and where would you store them all? Anyway, she has both the 18" and the mini of 'her' doll and now the minis of all the others - fabulous play! My only negative is that the eyes do not open and shut, but that's no reason not to get them. You can buy clothing for the minis as well and I fully recommend getting the display case that stands 12 mini dolls.

As with all the AG minis, Marie Grace is very cute and I love having a "mini-me" for my full sized Marie Grace, but the one that I received had pincurls that were long, stiff and...odd. I WAS happy to discover that I could wet them and recurl them around a bobby pin. I also curled the rest of her hair with perm rollers because it was a big scraggly but, once the hair issues were resolved, I was very pleased. She has a sweet face and, honestly, I like her dress better in the mini size than I do the full size.

My daughter wanted Marie-Grace the moment she saw her. I was not about to buy another full size American Girl doll so this was perfect. She also received a big doll house for Christmas along with this doll and it fits perfectly in the doll house. I like her playing with this kind of doll rather than a Barbie and she agrees with that. Yes these dolls are small but it allows kids to get the different ones and not have us buying $100 doll all the time. Marie-Grace is very cute and my daughter loves her. We didn't really care much about the little book that came with her. She already had the full size collection of books on this doll and those are way better anyway!

My daughter was thrilled when this arrived! She has an American Girl Doll House for 6" dolls, but only one doll, so this was a great addition - her Kit doll now has a friend! And what a great price! All her friends have the oversized & massively overpriced 18" dolls (ridiculous to pay $100+ for a doll if u ask me...) my daughter loves her small portable dolls and can play in the doll house with them at home! The quality is just as good as the full sized dolls - same manufacturer!

These mini dolls are a perfect substitute for Barbie's. I don't purchase Barbie's as I feel they only add to the body image issues with young girls and they represent non-family values. The American girl dolls have life and family stories to go with each doll, traditional clothing and my granddaughter cannot get enough of them. Amazon had and still has the best price. I highly recommend this doll and all the American girl mini dolls!

I recieved American Girl Mini Doll, Marie Grace in a fast and timley manner. When the doll arrived the packaging was in excellent condition, sealed, and well protected! The product is American Girl Brand and it came new in the American Girl box! I appreciate the seller's honesty in providing the true product that was posted and described!! My little girl will be so surprised on Christmas morning!!

My 6YO granddaughter loves this doll. She wanted an American Girl doll for Christmas and couldn't decide between Marie Grace or Rebecca. I was able to get her both in these mini versions without the $100+ price tag of the standard AG dolls. I'm very pleased with them. But note these dolls can't be undressed and costumes changed like the standard ones. Saved a bunch of money there too!

Brought as a joke for daughter's Christmas as she asked for American girl doll so brought this, along side full sized. The detail in these little dolls amazing will be buying more.

This is lovely doll with super soft hair!! She came very quickly and her book to an extent is readable she has lots of detail including her braid which is really cute! overall i rate the doll 5/5!

I love this doll. She is so beautiful and the amount of detail that has been put into her is amazing, fantastic.
