One of our girls gets very afraid of thunder and lightning. We looked for a "cave" like bed for awhile, many we tried had a bent piece of plastic or metal wire to hold up a hood. They never lasted or stayed upright. This Teepee design is great, gives her a place to go when the weather is bad. Normally she was in one of our laps or under our bed covers, good for her, not so good for us. With this bed she just goes right in and sleeps. Her sister joins her and everyone is warm and comfortable. You can remove the top part if you want, but we leave it on. Cushiony bottom bed, and thick lining all around.

I have an eleven pound mixed breed that likes to sleep covered up. Hie is over 12” tall at the withers so needs a decent sized bed if he is going to be able to stretch out, At 22” this is a perfect size for him. The first bed I received had several flaws. The bed arrived in a box, but there was nonplastic covering around the bed once the box was opened. Fortunately it was not raining when it was delivered. Had it been, there is a good chance the bed would have been wet. In putting the bed together, when the top was zipped on, the zipper for the top extended beyond the zipper for the bottom by about an inch. Does this matter to the dog or disrupt function of the product? No, but at the price charged it is expected it would be decently made. Also the pillow insert for the bottom of the bed is several inches smaller in diameter than the actual bed. Even my unfussy dog found this uncomfortable and pushed the pillow to the side. I returned the first bed, hoping I received some parts of another size bed mixed in. When the second bed arrived it also was just a bed in a box, no plastic wrapping or bag encasing it. The zippers on the second bed lined up. However the pillow insert was still too small for the base leaving me to believe that perhaps this company makes one size pillow insert for various size beds... so if you buy a smaller diameter bed, perhaps the pillow would fit The entire bottom, but for the 22” bed it is too small. Unlike a similar style bed we already have, the cover for this bed does not zip off... so while it may make it through the washing machine, the dryer would likely deteriorate the foam used for the sides and top. The other bed I have has zippers that allow you to remove the inner foam for washing. Finally, the base of the bed itself is very thin nylon fabric. Sturdy enough probably, but with the pillow insert being useless, I had to find a different bottom if I wanted to use this bed. I am keeping the second one, but mostly because there are not many options in a 22” diameter covered bed, most beds are much smaller. This bed should be about $15 for what is is.

I recently purchased this dog bed for my miniature Schnauzer. He LOVES it, it is very cozy and comfortable and generous size..he shares the bed with favourite toys. It is VERY well made, the exterior and plush interior materials of high quality. I highly recommend this bed!

Beautiful bed that looks like it will wear well over time. EXTREMELY FAST shipping and I love the removable cave/top feature. I chose 4/5 vs 5/5 stars because my 17lb dachshund almost topples it over when he races into it (could be denser/sturdier). Also, the tag says not to wash the main bedding piece in the center which seems impossible over time-this is the piece I will need to wash most! I will update this post if it all dissentigrates but for now it seems AN EXCELLENT DOG BED!

In terms of size; it's great for my two Klee Kai. But in terms of overall quality, it's not great. In the picture, you can see the zippered part keeps coming apart from the slight movement of my dogs circling around to lay down inside it or me just moving it to a different location. And that part of the zipper is the beginning part. It ends on the other side that's staying together. The cushion that came with is way smaller and does not provide like any cushion. Sure the material is soft but that's about it. I added a bunch of fuzzy blankets inside it which my dogs love. Despite the issues, I decided to keep it for the fact my dogs like den beds and this is the first one the size was perfect for them. I'm going to install a new zipper or something to keep it together. I would not buy this unless you just want the outside part because you will be doing a lot to make it work otherwise.

My dog loves this bed. I have been trying to find one I thought he liked for a while. He has about 5 now LOL. He only sleeps in this one though. He likes the cover so he can stay warm and feel hidden. He is a 10lb Chihuahua but I bought the large bed so he would have room to stretch out. I like that the top zips off, when we travel I leave it at home and just take the base. I also like that the base cushion unzips and the cover can be washed. It has thicker bedding to sleep on than most of the dog beds I have bought on here, so I like that too. Also, when it flattens out and is ready to be tossed, I can just put different cushion in it since it just unzips and zips back up. Best dog bed I have purchased on here, and I will buy it again and again if they keep it around.
