Fumoi Automatic Litter Box,App Control,Safety Sensor,Washable Litter Trays

This is my second purchase of an automatic cleaning, barrel type litter box. My first unit is a Famree. I've had it for years, and it works very well, so I thought I'd buy the same unit for our new kitten. Unfortunately, I could not find that unit, so I ended up with the Fumoi. I didn't have high hopes on this machine. It was half the price of my original Famree, after all. I freely admit I was totally wrong. This is an amazing box. It is quieter and 10 times easier to clean. The old box dribbles used litter when the bag is removed from the collar. I have ended up sacrificing a vacuum to keep that mess cleaned up. Not a single granule spilled cleaning the Fumoi. It cut my cleaning time in half. I also like the ability to remove the top and pour litter in directly. I do wish the Fumoi had a ionic deodorizer cycle, but for the price difference, I can buy two whole room units. My cat loves it, and has no problem jumping into the box, and he's only 14 weeks old. The scale feature is not reliable, but that is a minor issue for me. The cycle cleans well and removes all clumps. I use Tidy Cats Lightweight litter. Tracking litter out drives me nuts, but a muddy mat in front of the box stops 95 percent of that. That is a litter issue, not a box problem. All around, this box is well worth the money. I'm thinking of replacing my other Famree unit with the Fumoi, too.

I absolutely love this litter box! I was a little hesitant about getting a self-cleaning one, but I’m so glad I did. It has made keeping up with the litter box SO much easier. It does a great job cleaning after my cat uses it, and there is significantly less smell compared to a regular litter box. One of my favorite features is the free app control. It makes it really easy to monitor the litter box and keep an eye on things even when I’m away from home. I also really love the anti-pinch function. Knowing that it has that added safety feature gives me much more peace of mind when my cat is around it. My cat adjusted to it pretty quickly, and I love not having to scoop litter every single day. Emptying the waste compartment is simple and much less gross than dealing with a traditional litter box. If you have a cat and hate scooping litter, this is 100% worth it. I honestly wish I had bought one sooner!

I purchased this about a month ago and it has been an absolute game changer. However there is a learning curve to using it correctly to get the best results. 1. You need to use a higher quality litter. It does balance out cost wise and I am using less litter than before. I’m currently using the dr. Emby or something like that from Walmart. It has the best clumping for pee and poop. 2. You need to clean it well! Like the whole thing comes apart, including the tray where the litter sits. I take it apart about every two weeks to clean and use KOE to break up any lingering smells on it. 3. Not necessary but my litter box sit in a smaller room with little ventilation and the smells were somehow worse when I switched to this. I placed my air purifier near it and it took care of the issue. That paired with the better litter. NOW FOR THE POSITIVES 1. I use this for 3 cats! 2 kittens and an adult. It handles it amazingly. It keeps up with the cleaning just fine 2. My adult cat is a chonky boy and he fits inside with no issues at all 3. It quiet!!! 4. You can control it with an app. It will reset, clean, and fully empty with a button. So simple

I love this item! It far surpassed my expectations and it wasn't even 1/3 of the cost as the other litter boxes! I was worried my cats wouldn’t transition well from a traditional litter box, but they seem to love it just as much as me! They have no issues and started using it right away. It’s a very quiet machine! You can set it to clean as little as 1 minute after they go to the bathroom (perfect for dogs who like to eat cat poop). The machine will stop moving if anyone enters or puts their hand in the door. Great motion sensor! No more scooping! Twice a week I empty and replace the bag in the drawer and boom, it’s done! Just pop off the lid and top off the litter when low. My picky cat has quit peeing outside of the litter box since we had this. It’s a lifesaver! You can also track how many trips your cat takes a day and their weight. You do have to sometimes reset the system after a power outage, but that’s to be expected. I can’t give enough praise to this litter box! Also love the color options of its inside light. The app is easy to use as well.

We have 4 cats and have been using this litter box for about 5 weeks now. So far, it has worked really well for us, and we have not needed to keep another litter box in the house. Setup only took a few minutes. We did have a little trouble getting it working initially, but once we got everything set up correctly, we haven’t had any issues. The biggest difference for us has been the dramatic reduction in litter usage and odor. Compared with our previous traditional litter boxes, we are using much less litter, and the odor is WAY down. With four cats, that is a huge improvement. It has also been great not having to constantly scoop multiple litter boxes throughout the day. our four cats (2 young, 2 older), have all adapted to using it without any problems. We did have a few weeks of overlap where we had both the automatic box and normal litter boxes available, but slowly removed the regular boxes to encourage use of the automatic box. We now only keep the one automatic box for the household and have not had any issues with mess, smell, or usage. Overall, we’ve been very happy with it after five weeks of use and would definitely recommend it for a multi-cat household.

First I have to say I did not take off any stars because that would be unfair. This functions exactly the way it is meant to and is advertised. That said, I’m not sure I’d buy it again. My hope was this box would eliminate litter box odor, and also allow us to go away for the weekend and not come home to a super dirty litter box. (That second part it can do.) I have two kittens, and was advised to keep a litter box on each floor. That means on the main floor, the box is in our mudroom which is right off the kitchen. I don’t particularly like having litter boxes where they can be seen and smelled, but that’s really the only option for this floor. We followed all the instructions on how to introduce this robot to the kittens and that went smoothly and they use it with no issue. The cons to me are: - it’s really high off the ground and requires stairs for them to get in and out. - it doesn’t really help with the smell. After they use it, it needs to delay the cleaning for about 10-15 minutes ideally (you can adjust this) to allow urine to clump. So there’s odors during that period of time. Having two kittens, that means there are frequent odors as they use the box about 4 times a day each! - the unit is of course not airtight, so you can still smell the drawer of poop to some extent. And when it runs, all the odor from that bucket of poo and pee is open and is very smelly. - the rake gets build-up poop and urine clumps stuck in it just like a manual pooper scooper so that smells and needs cleaned often. It does come with a little long handled brush to clean the rake. - the actual part they stand it gets dirty on the bottom as well rim and that causes it to smell, so all these little extra parts need frequent cleaning if you’re hoping to eliminate odors. Now, if it’s in a more isolated and unused area of your home and you’re just wanting it to self clean, and are not concerned about odors, you’d find this unit to be perfect. I realize I had unrealistic hopes for what I wanted it to be able to provide.

Worked very well first two months and I loved it during that time. However, lately it will not finish the reset after a cat uses it and it ends up stopping halfway in the rotation to finish the dumping of waste. This makes it impossible for cat to use again until I manually reset it. I don’t watch the cat box so who knows how long it is like this before I see its got a problem. It works on and off again and I don’t know what to do to fix it. I was out of the return window when it started malfunctioning. I do want to say the packaging and shipping was incredible. The directions for set up were also incredible. You get a very large, sturdy instruction card that is very nice and easy to understand. I am hoping seller will respond to this and help me figure out the problem because this was a fantastic product in the first two months.

Love it! We have had it about 3 weeks with my 2 new kittens. We were terrible at keeping up with my old cats litter box and he usually asked to go outside like a dog. But the kittens are indoor cats so we wanted something to help us keep up. So glad I did because just today the app says they have used it 11 times. We kept a normal liter box too at first, one of the kittens took to it faster than the other. But within a week I got rid of the normal one and they use it all the time. We did have to purchase steps for it. It's in my living room and super quiet (it never bothers us while hanging or watching TV) and doesn't smell bad. Super easy to put together and set up. App tells you when to clean out the drawer, which is just taking out the bag and replacing. Inside still looks clean so far havet needed to do anything inside. Great purchase!
