ORIGINAL POST: I could not connect the device to my Samsung 7 Edge. The software didn't work on my Samsung tablet (but it would connect) nor on my PC. Once I got it working, I got a clear picture of my inner ear on the tablet.UPDATE: This company was very concerned that I was a satisfied customer. They offered to send me a different scope or refund my money (and keep the one I ordered). I elected the refund which has been credited. The scope works well with the Samsung Galaxy tablet and you can't beat that customer service so I would recommend this particular company as a good one to try out.Using the scope I discovered a bone spur and I can take an image to an ENT doctor. I also used the attachment to clean out some wax.

I know its cheap, but its by fair the most frustrating thing. when the camera works it had good picture and is fun to use but the camera itself has very bad connections, you have to keep twisting the wire until you find the right spot and if you move just a little you loose connection again

I ordered this thing with very low expectations. I mean, c'mon, a USB endoscope for less than 20 bucks? I am however very pleased with my purchase.I downloaded the app from the play store, turned on the otg function on my phone (oneplus 5t), put the USB-c adapter on the end and plugged the unit into my phone. When I opened the app it asked to connect to the USB device and presto, I was looking at the inside of my nose in no time flat. Then my ears, then my eyes (not recommended, the led lights are bright) then everything I wanted to see more closely.The image quality is not great but it is still really good given the fact that the unit is so inexpensive. The app has some useful features like taking screen shots or recording video as well as adjusting the resolution of the image.The little zippered case is OK but it's a tight fit for the pen style scope body, but it fits. It did come with a little tray of utensils to stick to the end of the camera for ear cleaning, though I did not care for them (ymmv).I would buy another one if I needed to.

camera works but directions are subpar and app they recommend doesn't work with link provided. just go to app store and look up a app instead. the accessories it comes with are practically useless and the metal rods they expect you to use don't fit the locking collar or mounting hole provided on the camera as others have mentioned. just buy it for what it is... a small waterproof wired camera with micro LEDs that you can stick in your ear/nose/or wherever you fancy and get a decent view of whats going on. The most valuable accessory is the 2 small stretchy/clear collars that slide over the end of the camera. these collars allow the LEDs to be directed into your ear better and the camera seems to focus much better. they also act as an adjustable depth guard so if your putting it in child's ear you are less likely to cause pain/injury from going in to deep. i wish more were included because one they are lost idk if the camera will be any use to me. everything washes up with dish soap and a little alcohol and your ready for the next adventure ;-)

Works well. Easy to use once you practice a little. One trick if using c-type USB. make sure you push it in all the way. Seems to meed some extra pressure to insert. Other than that it is a clear picture and does not get too hot. Eve on mac brightness.Only comments on the item is perhaps it would be better with a softer cover where inserted and maybe a little flexible. Short of that it is good.Amazon Prime failed to deliver it in the two days. This package was a day late and the package sat in a local facility an extra day before delivery. We cancelled a second item purchased with this one when Amazon failed to deliver it with this one. They shipped together. Amazon refused to call and see if it would be delivered even a day later. Indicated they would refund the purchase price plus something extra for the inconvenience. They ONLY refunded the purchase. We will not be renewing our PRIME membership. This isn't the first delivery issue we have seen and we live in a well populated area. The delivery location is only 20 minutes away.

This thing seems to have a halfway decent camera, but using it is hugely frustrating. No directions as to how the attachments actually are meant to attach, and the whole thing left me feeling like I'd be lucky to just not hurt my inner ear so total usage time was about 30 minutes. No injury, so I'll probably leave it there.

Not only can I check my ears with this, I have used it to check on the healing of an ingrown toe nail I had removed as I could not get a good look at it. It also enlarges the image of things so I have used it to check on a splinter I had too. I was able to get the splinter out more easily as I could see how it went in better.

Update. All the pieces broke. Made of plastic. Can't find anywhere to buy replacement parts. Have to buy the whole unit again. Waste of money!was going to follow the instructions and go to their website to download the file. All I did was plug the usb in, turn on my camera on my laptop and bamm, that's it. Pretty gross stuff your looking at. The light on full does get a little bit hot if left in the ear for too long but it does tell you that in the directions. I scooped out some was with the shortest scoop but going further in didn't work to well for me. Not the camera's fault. I have very narrow eardrums. I am very pleased with this device and the price was great!
