This is a great tasting cold brew coffee. The taste is mellow and very low in acid. I am a repeat customer.

I’m not reviewing the company values and giving 5 stars for dogs...I’m reviewing coffee. Luckily, the coffee is just as good as the “good boys” they’re helping! Smooth, bold flavor and super easy to use - I add a tablespoon of local natural raw honey to the grounds and let it brew at least 16 hours.The water you use makes a BIG difference! At first I used filtered water from a Brita pitcher. Then I grew up and used Poland spring water. So much better!For some reason I can’t explain, my wife and I like the flavor better when it brews in the refrigerator vs. at room temperature. It’s supposed to be stronger when brewed at room temp, but we couldn’t tell the difference in potency.Great coffee, great company, great doggos! *Subscribed to subscribe & save!

This coffee has a nice bold flavor without having to increase steep times or the quantity of coffee. The grind is perfect for cold brew. If you brew in a bag, keep the top of the bag out of the water. This will keep the floating grounds from escaping. Only complaint is the course ground leaves a lot of coffee sediment behind. However, I simply transfer the coffee to another container after letting it settle and most of it is left behind.

Just made my first batch of ice coffee and I must say, this coffee is very good. It’s smooth and tasty on the tongue without any bad aftertaste. I steeped my ice coffee for 21 hours, poured it over ice and added half and half and 2 table spoons caramel syrup. Yum!! I would love this coffee in the whole bean so that I could grind it up myself. Maybe they will read this review and respond to that request. For ground coffee, it was very good.

*(Updated at bottom, raised from 2 to 4 stars) Bad flavor, not course ground as package says/leaked grounds into cold brewer, left a sediment on everything it touched, and was way too expensive for the small sized bag. Bad batch perhaps, but why not just support your local animal shelters and rescues on your own and buy cheaper tastier coffee? 2 stars for benefit of the doubt that maybe it's a bad batch or just my opinion.*(Update) Amazing customer service! Someone from Hugo read my review and sent me another bag in case the last batch was a bad fluke. Thanks! The new bag is better, but still not my favorite. Bizzy Brew is $7 cheaper and tastes better. Again, this could just be my preference.

This is hands down my favorite cold brew coffee. I started cold brewing my own coffee at the end of September and started with a couple different kinds, this was one of the first that I tried. No matter what else I tried I always came back to this coffee. The taste is great, it supports a good cause, and is a great price. What else could you want? 10/10 would recommend.

During the warm summer months it is nice to start the day with a cool refreshing Hugo cold brew. Hugo coffee has a great smooth taste that is very drinkable. Also, as a rescue dog owner I like knowing that I am buying a product that supports animal shelters in it's local area.

I like the flavor and aroma of this coffee. I used it with the cold brew "recipe" on the package and it was fine. I also tried some brewed regular and it also tasted fine and the aroma was very nice. Figuring why not try more,I put some in reusable "K-Cups" and it seemed I needed a little extra to get it strong enough for my tastes. I think that the extra was needed because of the course grind. I have already bought more. Nice to help out a few dogs too!
