The medal is well built and sturdy. Will last long. The chain does not have a clasp. I added one from an old chain. The chain seems sturdy enough to last as well.

Every Vet should have ONE.
I have been in or worked with the Army for 50 years. And it took a Movie about the Croatian War to tellme that St. George was the patron Saint for soldiers. I knew Amazon would have them, and yours was rightsize and great price. I bought 2, one for me and one for my best Buddy who is also a Vet.Scott Clay

Light & beautiful!
It looks like a heave chain & pendant in the sale photo but it is really light & comfortable. You don’t even know it’s there. Beautiful workmanship. I love it & it honors my patron saint. JKphd
