Use this a lot now and find it works for timber outside. Can combine clear and coloured coats easily and I find with softwood a clear coat first followed by light oak gives a more even finish as the stain does not get soaked into the wood in a patchy way as sometimes happens with just a coloured coat of some preservatives.I use a lint free cloth to apply and find it goes on very easily. I normally use three or more coats for outdoor work but some might say this is a little excessive!Easy to reapply when needed without sanding. A little light sanding however is good sometimes but not essential as the product overcoats easily. Recommend you give it a try, its as good as many more expensive treatments.

Excellent product used to preserve outdoor wooden sculptures. This product does not alter the colour of the wood and preserves really well.

Easy coverage and did not unduly stain the wood. This is helpful if the greying of cedar wood is the desired outcome.
