Hat was used for a week long trip to Florida. I didn't use the face shield at all, but did use the neck curtain on one particularly sunny day. Curtain worked well, without causing overheating, or stifling the air flow. The rest of the week, I wore the hat sans curtain. I found the brim to be wide enough to keep the sun off my face, ears, and neck. With close to 90ºF weather, the hat was comfortable to wear and I didn't feel I was getting too hot while wearing it. I also liked that the hat has a long chin strap and that the hat itself is quite lightweight...When I didn't need to wear the hat, I could let it ride on my back with the strap being held off my throat my my polo shirt's lapels, and its weight was forgotten. Another nice feature is that the hat lays totally flat when not being worn, and it can be laid in a suitcase flat, without it getting folded up or damaged.

I spend a lot of time in the mountains and desert. I also have fair skin that was damaged when I was young. So, it is imperative that I wear proper solar protection. Besides sun blocking creams, I needed better protection for my head, neck and face. This hat works great for me. It's light, it has ventilation and provides amble protection. I like that the panels are removable and it is easy to wash. The photo does not show the "face" cover that is included. This product is also a good value compared to other sun hats I have purchased.

Very nice product, used it several times while fishing and for lawn work , highly recommend the hat. The face guard is my favorite part of the hat , I used to use the pull over face cover but it was too tight to my mouth and seemed to cause heat build up from my breathing , the face mesh on the hat still covers my face but allows easy breathing and the heat to dissipate..

This just arrived and I am super pleased with the quality of the fabric and stitching. The brim is wide enough to provide sun protection to neck and face without the other attachments. However, with an upcoming trip to Africa, the mesh face piece may come in handy if dust is blowing! High quality product with an affordable price!

Overall, very pleased. Nice wide brim. Comfortable fit thanks to available adjustments. The wrap-around neck protection works well but it uses hooks, which are a bit of a hassle to remove, but they seem secure. I just stuff the curtain into the top of the hat.Haven't used the face protection yet. It attaches via Velcro-like pads on the inside brim.

Turned out to be great- I was afraid size might be too small as with many items made in China but fits me perfectly. Comes with 2 attachments which I haven't used yet but may in future. Recommended

This hat is very comfortable. Will accommodate a larger head than my husband's (his hat size would be about 7 1/4), but even though you could pull it down farther, it does not SLIP down. Stays where you put it and it's not hot, even with the flaps and the face cover. Breathable. Doesn't fog glasses, which is a plus. Very happy with it.

Not very attractive but functions very well, I play Pokemon go a lot and I could be out in the sun almost all day. I don't use back flap or face protector but have not got a burn on the back of my neck. I fold it up if I need to stick it in my drawstring bag.
