Great for traveling
I had a good chance to test these, as recently traveling on a long international flight to Europe, I forgot to use the socks going, and I arrived with some swelling of my ankles and feet. Returning I did use them and there was no swelling whatsoever. They were very comfortable, and did not feel "hot", as I sometimes experience with any type of socks. Definitely a good product.

Worth the price!
So, I work way too many desk hours, and, while I am endeavoring to take more frequent breaks, and even bought a little stepper machine to use in my office, research on health led me to compression socks. given that I've got a bit of neuropathy setting in, which is not good. I was pretty surprised at the prices, and, of course, it's hard to know if the "knock off" brands are any better than "branded" brands. Since I knew nothing of compression socks, it's been a hit and miss of trial and error.I wanted something white (not sure what's up with so many compression socks coming in wild color combos and designs?) and, starting out, I eventually found some great copper infused compression socks on here, by FuelMeFoot, that are 15-20mmHG which was a good beginning (and three pairs for ten bucks is awesome!). Then, hot weather hit, and it's very difficult to find a regular athletic or crew length sock to wear with shorts (wasn't really wanting to rock the lederhosen look, haha), but, finally found some from ADLU. Of course, a shorter compression sock doesn't do the same job, and I get that, but the ADLU are a nice balance of looking like "normal" socks plus providing some compression benefit and, at 15 dollars for two pairs, it's not that bad, since regular socks have gone up in price, yet seem to have gone down in quality at the same time. But, having gotten used to (and actually really liking) how compression socks feel, I wanted to notch up to a more therapeutic level of compression, that I could wear while sleeping, at least a few nights a week, so I started exploring brands of those type. Read the many great reviews for these, but, with seeing much less expensive options, I tried those first, just because 20 bucks a pair is steep.I ordered one of these, to compare, and, NO comparison, these are definitely the BEST of what I've found. The level of padding, and comfort, and excellence of fit is phenomenal. Extremely well made socks, and they just feel wonderful to wear. I know, kind of odd, socks that feel so great, but, seriously, these make my feet and legs very happy. I sleep great, and it seems my neuropathy is not getting any worse, and may even be starting to improve, so three cheers for compression socks, and a thousand cheers for these Wanderlust socks, the best of what I've found thus far, in a higher compression sock. They even sent a coupon for my next order, and I just ordered two more pairs. They are thicker than the FuelMeFoot ones, so I'm not sure they will work as well in my sneakers, but, as an around-the-house and sleep-at-night sock, these are awesome. If they don't make my shoes fit too tight, I will likely switch over to these when the weather warms up, and possibly wear these exclusively, since they offer more therapeutic effect.A terrific sock, and thanks to all the reviewers on here for sharing their findings. Wish I'd had these when I used to do overseas travel, but glad I've found them now!SUMMARY: Well made, perfect fit, plenty of padding, "normal" appearance, super comfortable, and, in a case of getting what one pays for, these are worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Impressed!
My husband and I are frequent international travelers and are finally at the age where we need to consider the danger of developing blood clots from prolonged plane travel. I am 5'2", size 9 shoe, and bought M-L; my husband is 6'3", size 13 shoe and bought size L/XL.We are on our way to Europe and have them on for the first time. I am impressed! The adjust to my short and my husband's extra long legs, do not squash the toes, and the material is sooo comfortable. They feel like a cotton blend hiking sock, but are not too thick. They were easy to put on and don't feel tight. My usual travel shoes fit normally. These would feel great when doing prolonged tourist walking, too. I'll definitely buy us a spare set. There is no reason to buy the $60 compression socks with these available.

So far a great compression sock, size 12 inch US shoe size, using the L-XL size sock.
These socks are very comfortable and seem to be well made, a bit pricey, but worth it for this type of trip.I'm 6'2 at 205 with a 12inch shoe size, the L-XL size gives a good fit and compression from ankle to just under the knee cap.I used these recently for a one day round trip to Dallas, flew in and out the same day. No issues noted during the flight and walked mostly all day from airport and meetings making it about 7 miles of walking besides sitting on the plane. I also had on a very good quality shoe from Allen Edmonds. which helped, but I noted that these socks have a good thickness and cushion that made the trip bearable.By the end of the day (16 hours) or so my feet and calf were in good shape, could have gone further. So far have washed well.Compression has not diminished.Has good thickness and cushion under the foot.I recommend this sock at this and will likely buy a couple more.

They work and seem to be of good quality
You don't want to find out you need these and don't have them. You buy these based on your age and you may never find out if you needed them or not. It's better to be safe than sorry. I'm 50 now and I don't know when edema could show up and I don't want to know. I wore these on a flight from Toronto to Helsinki and back and I'm still alive and didn't get edema. A word of warning for newbies. Don't try and put these on after you board the plane unless you're a yogi. It takes some strength to get these on.

Short life span.
I bought 5 or so pairs of these socks some months ago. They are extremely comfortable. But on another note... I communicated with the company about my heels blowing out on these socks. They were extremely polite and sent me 3 or 4 more pairs, while assuring me that they use nothing but the finest materials. I've met the end with this company. I have never in my life had a single pair of socke wear like these. I have pairs of Gold Toes that are in the twenty years old category! When you sit down to put your $20/pair socks on and you look at my picture from this morning, what do you think of their highest quality now? This is a racquet nothing more nothing less! I'm done with this company and I am warning you to consider not doing business with them either.Caveat Emptor!Tom

Great for travel!
Every time I fly my feet swell. It is horrible. I was getting ready to take a 10 hour flight to Hawaii so ordered these socks. I did not want swollen feet and ankles at the beach! They worked perfectly! I put them on after I got on the plane and left them on the entire flight. At first they felt tight but I got used to it in a few minutes. They were comfy for 10 hours. I didn't swell at ALL! It was amazing!!! I highly recommend these.
