Works as advertised, now that I've been working with it for a bit. Some provisos...- The device is either an ODM packaging for Novatel (meaning the fabricator in China or elsewhere direct to this seller) or it's a side-sell from the same. It wasn't in the packaging I'd have expected from Novatel or Verizon on a refurb or a new item and lacked a SIM card.- The device doesn't have your typical SIM. Odds are QUITE good that an authorized reseller won't have it. You'll need to go to a Corp Store for this.- It works like a USB Ethernet in nature. This means it won't work with older Linux versions, older Cradlepoints (ANY of the EOLed units will not work...) and will not work right with any of the older versions of Windows (Anything prior to 7...) or OSX.If you want to use this and you have one of those conditions...pick up a GL-AR300M off of here for $30-40 and make sure it's got the absolute latest firmware for a quick fix there.Thing has it's own computer and website that is exposed on 192.168.1.1 (with the URL printed on the back of the unit...) that lets you do everything you could with MyVerizon on your phone...on the dongle. It will even let you view measured by network data usage on the webpage. Neat.Past that, this has worked better than **ANY** of the prior units I've had with Verizon and I can't wait to get into an xLTE area to use the greatly increased speed.

The rubberized coating turned to goo in the span of a couple months, removing it was nearly impossible and left the surface looking like crap and still sticky. The modem function is OK, using with a PepWave SOHO router, takes a long time to connect LTE.

Works great. Only had to switch Sim card from old to new.

We have the same card in the same application with no problems. This card disconnects itself and has to be reconnected manually which defeats the purpose. It just isn't reliable.

Only worked for 1 month. Totally became a brick. Tried to return and Amazon said I couldn’t. Don’t buy unless buying directly from Verizon or else you will be out of luck.

I rate all product on the company providing it and Rob and his team at Jetpack are a solid 5 Star company.

Works as it should. Came in new condition including literature.
