I have been following Potensic for a few years now, with the Atom 1 and then the Atom 2. They are both great quality, value of money, functionality, image quality, ease of use , and sheer FUN ! With the Atom 2 you get a drone that is as good as some DJI mini's, for a fraction of the price.

I write this having had the Atom 1 before and a DJI mini 2. The atom 1 was a great drone, fast with intuitive software. The DJI mini 2 was supposedly better, but I didn’t find it to be particularly so. This, however, is a significant advance on both. I flew it 4km away from me, and back. It arrived back with 20% battery. The camera is super controllable with zoom capability, the software was easy to set up and use, configurable. Video feed and RC connection were rock solid, even 4k away. This is a massive improvement on my previous 2 drones. A huge upgrade. Just a note- you are offered “potensic care” on setup, with 48 hours to activate it. For £69 you can get 2 years cover, with 4 flyaway events and subsidised repairs for crashed drones. The offer puts you in a position to buy it, but Potensic aren’t clear enough about the cover. Only after purchase did I learn that each flyaway would be £120 to get a replacement and repairs £35 (as I recall). I don’t think this is great value for money and had I known this I would not have purchased this. Overall though, an excellent purchase.

As the owner of the Potensic Atom, I am pleasantly surprised by the leap forward. The drone is even easier to drive, the possibilities of video and photography have improved significantly. Especially the night mode is a big plus. I highly recommend.

Potensic Atom 2 has an improved controller compared to the original Atom, with more robust signal range, 2 function buttons and 2 thumb wheels for camera angle & zoom. The camera is also higher quality with improved low light performance.

An excellent drone and easily comparable to the DJI Mini 4 pro but less than half of the price . Yes you sacrifice obstacle avoidance but the night vision quality for night flying is much better , the fly more kit has by far the most spare props I've seen in a kit , 3 fast charging batteries with over an hour of real world flying. My flights average 24mins x 3 = 1hr 12mins . One of the best tracking drones I've used better than my Neo and Flip . It's a very good next step up from a basic drone to enhance your flying and camera abilities and can take some pretty rough handling I hit a large chimney stack , it fell 60ft bounced on the concrete. After replacing a couple of Props it was back up flying . It's capable of flying well beyond VLOS and the transmission has been perfect and uninterrupted even in built up areas . Excellent value for money .

Amazing drone. Exceptional value for money. Very well built and fantastic finish in every way. Video and picture quality is excellent. And flies very well with lots of built in features. And Potensic are releasing great updates for the drone. Latest software includes some new great updates including cine roll, sphere, photos during recording, and sharpness and colour controls. Have owned a couple of dji drones a few years ago but much more enjoying this one. Will definitely be buying Potensic again in the future should I need to upgrade.

This is a great lightweight drone. I stopped flying my previous one when all the rules changed and it became too restrictive. The Atom 2 is so light that it is easy to find places to fly. Battery life is great, the intelligent flight programs are easy to use and impressive, and the AI tracking is a great bonus feature at this price point. On top of that Potensic’s customer service is superb. I had an issue, contacted them, sent a few logs over, and they decided to replace the drone. I shipped the original one back to them at 4pm on a Friday and received the replacement by 1.30pm the following day! Outstanding 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had a GPS camera drone already which frustrated me as it did not handle wind very well and the camera was a bit clunky, so I needed something a bit more capable. Not wanting to part with a lot of money lightly, I did a fair bit of research on YouTube mostly and, with some butterflies, I ordered the Atom 2 Fly More Pack. After two sessions using all 3 batteries I know I made the best purchase and I bought Potensic Care as extra support and insurance too. This drone is incredibly stable in wind and is very responsive when coming back to land on the pad. Actually the Return To Home is very accurate, usually within half a metre or less. Photographs and Video are great, the clarity of landscapes from altitude is a joy. So, the purchase was a good choice, very good value for the capability, plus the Potensic Eve App is a goldmine for information and for setting up. This drone is going to keep me a happy boy for quite a while! Just one quick addition - despite being less than 250gm you still need to do the CAA training and pass the exam as the drone is not classed as a toy and has a camera, so there are some legalities to be aware of, however, i found the training worthwhile.

Lo bueno es que las baterías y la bolsa del modelo anterior siguen siendo compatibles, así que con la compra he conseguido un equipo más completo por un precio ajustado. Las baterías del ATOM 2 son ligeramente más pesadas que las del SE, aunque apenas se nota al volar; lo menciono más como detalle técnico, porque el comportamiento en vuelo sigue siendo igual de ágil y estable. El cambio se aprecia desde el primer vuelo: el dron es más preciso, la cámara tiene una nitidez superior y el estabilizador hace que los planos sean mucho más suaves. El nuevo sensor Sony junto con el procesado HDR mejora muchísimo las tomas en condiciones de poca luz, y el modo AI Night Shot consigue escenas nocturnas realmente nítidas para un dron tan pequeño. La nueva app es otro punto importante. Ahora es más fluida y permite acceder a funciones como QuickShots, Dolly Zoom o el disparo vertical, perfectas para contenido en redes. También incluye la función SmartTransfer, que permite pasar vídeos y fotos al móvil en segundos sin perder calidad. Uno de los apartados que menos utilizo es el seguimiento inteligente por IA. Este nuevo modo te permite encuadrar a una persona y el dron la sigue con gran precisión, ya sea en modo “Follow”, “Spotlight” o “Parallel”. La autonomía real ronda los 28-30 minutos, dependiendo del uso. Con tres baterías (dos del SE y una del ATOM 2) tengo más de una hora de vuelo combinada. Para escapadas cortas o grabaciones rápidas, es más que suficiente. Es un dron muy manejable, fácil de pilotar y con controles precisos, ideal si estás aprendiendo o simplemente quieres disfrutar de grabar sin complicaciones. El gimbal de tres ejes aporta una estabilidad sobresaliente que se nota en cada toma. En conjunto, el ATOM 2 es un salto notable respecto al SE. Mantiene su tamaño compacto pero incorpora mejoras claras en cámara, estabilidad y funciones inteligentes. Potensic Atom 2: superiore al Mini 4K e con funzioni da vero professionista! 🚁🌟 A chi è utile: Consigliato a chi cerca un drone sotto i 400€, affidabile e pensato per riprese di qualità sia amatoriali che avanzate. Perfetto per appassionati che vogliono spingersi oltre il livello “entry” senza investire cifre da professionisti. Esperienza approfondita ed utilizzo reale: Ho testato a fondo il Potensic Atom 2 e le impressioni sono state nettamente oltre le aspettative per questo segmento di prezzo. Molti lo paragonano quasi subito al DJI Mini 4K, dato il posizionamento simile ma, dopo averli messi a confronto diretto, per me la vittoria del Potensic è netta: la qualità delle riprese è semplicemente superiore, tanto in condizioni di piena luce quanto in situazioni di scarsa luminosità. Il vero punto di forza? La funzione AI Night Vision: consapevole che la qualità dell’immagine tenda a calare leggermente, il guadagno in luminosità è davvero impressionante. Riesce a catturare dettagli anche in aree difficili, dove altri droni semplicemente si arrendono. Unica avvertenza: valutate l’uso che dovete farne, perché il boost di luce può andare a penalizzare un po’ il dettaglio, ma il risultato finale è ottimo per la fascia di prezzo. Struttura e resistenza: Sorprende anche la robustezza: il drone resiste alle raffiche di vento più forti senza perdere la stabilità dell’immagine — il drone può pure muoversi e “ballare” leggermente in aria, ma la ripresa rimane fermissima. Batteria e autonomia: L’autonomia reale è davvero soddisfacente: una singola carica permette circa 30 minuti di volo effettivo. Un’ottima sorpresa, considerando la categoria! Oltre al livello percentuale, l’app dedicata segnala sia il tempo stimato residuo che il consumo della batteria in tempo reale (alto, moderato, basso): molto utile per pianificare la sessione ed evitare sorprese in aria. Funzioni avanzate e controlli: Le funzioni Quickshots sono spettacolari: permettono di selezionare non solo persone e auto ma praticamente qualsiasi oggetto, garantendo massima personalizzazione alle riprese automatiche. Le 3 modalità di volo (lenta – media – veloce) forniscono un controllo estremamente preciso per ogni esigenza, sia per riprese cinematiche che per voli rapidi. Apprezzo particolarmente la possibilità di modificare tantissimi parametri: dalla velocità negli assi xyz, ai tempi di reazione del gimbal, fino ai filtri e le impostazioni avanzate — in questo modo ogni utente può davvero cucirsi l’esperienza su misura, esattamente come avviene su droni di livello superiore e molto più costosi. Segnale e gestione emergenze: Il segnale ha una tenuta molto buona in spazi aperti e puliti ma, come fisiologico in tutti i droni di questa classe e dimensione, la portata si riduce se si frappongono ostacoli tra il drone e l’antenna. Ottima la possibilità di impostare facilmente il comportamento automatico in caso di perdita del segnale direttamente dall’app (come Return To Home, Hover o discesa graduale), il tutto in modo semplice e intuitivo. Eine hervorragende Drohne mit vielen Möglichkeiten, AI mir sehr gut gefällt. Die Bildqualität ist exzellent, schnell, stabil und lässt sich hervorragend steuern. Einziger Nachteil: Das Plastik könnte etwas hochwertiger sein.
