Good quality, great price, and great features if you don't need the extension. If you really need the selfie-stick extension, look at one of the other models, but this gimbal will handle a lot at arms length. I set it up for tracking me in presentations and the tracking worked really good. I ran into a little difficulty when using the gesture-activated modes, but that's because I talk with my hands a lot. If you are recording yourself, remember that when you enable gestures because it might pick up your hand movement and stop tracking at some point - and it's hard to tell if you are standing away from it. That's an issue with anything gesture-controlled though, so it's not so much a defect in my opinion. Build quality is good. Connected to my S25 easily and has more features than I've figured out how to use. Tracking was smooth and it's a good size for both packing or using. Clearly DJI leads in this space and a lot of thought has gone into it.

Much better than the one I just bought before. Another brand I won’t name because that one works but my iPhone is too heavy for it. This Mobile 7 fits my iPhone 16 pro Max, it balances, I’ve practiced in my living room (you don’t want to see that lol), it controls the phone. It’s lighter than the other so it’s easier to carry around. All the controls work. You need to look at videos on line or on the app about the symbols and their uses because the print in the leaflet is just too small. They call this an entry level device which is fine for me. I’m looking forward to making good videos to post.

I’ve been very impressed with this phone gimbal. The stabilization is excellent and makes my videos look much smoother, even while walking. I got this for my Wedding content creation business and it’s been great! The only thing i struggle with is sometimes it has a mind of its own and goes haywire but that could be user error. It also randomly turns on when it’s in my bag. Otherwise it’s been a great tool!

I'm on Day-One with this product, but so far, I'm amazed. There's a brief learning curve learning all the functions that the small number of overloaded buttons perform, but I think that after a few uses, I'll hardly give it a thought. You do have to download the DJI app to take advantage of most of the features - that was no issue other than on first install, it went into "sleep" mode and said to tap the screen to wake it up... tapping would do nothing, but restarting the freshly-installed app seems to have fixed that little mishap. I also had to look-up which button to press to re-center it. The motors aren't super powerful, so just make sure you've mounted your phone in the center... and that the phone is oriented correctly in the harness (camera to the correct side). I use it with an iPhone 16 Pro. The phone's built-in magnet mount wasn't strong enough, but the mount included with the DJI is plenty powerful. At first, I didn't think the mount would fit my phone, but with a little spring-force, it fits just fine (But I can't imagine it fitting on the 16 Pro Max???) It also fits with my one-sided case attached... just got to fully extend it and give it a little effort. I was also concerned the mount was going to be pressing the side buttons, but somehow it does not. The stabilization is amazing. The tracking is amazing. The thumb-joystick is cool. The ability to power zoom while recording is next-to-amazing (on the iPhone 16 Pro there's a tiny hiccup when it switches between the lenses, but it works better than I would have expected). I didn't really even know this product existed until an hour before I bought it. I was just shopping for a cheap phone tripod/holder and a hand-grip... this product obviously gives a TON more than those two items for about the same price! (Unless you're comparing it to the cheapest grips). If it continues to perform as my first day tests... I can't give it a high enough recommendation for anyone who wants their phone video to truly step up to near-professional results. I can't wait to show this at our next Photography Club meeting! UPDATE: I gave it a more thorough work-out the next day and my amazement only grew! I recorded video while my wife drove our stiff-suspension golf cart through a rough construction zone, the video came out almost perfectly smooth. Extremely impressive!

This is my first upgrade since the Mobile 4 and I can really tell how much it has improved. The overall weight is lighter and I like that the tripod is now built right into the unit. It feels a lot safer to carry around and set down without worrying about losing a separate piece. The magnet connection also feels more secure than the older version. I picked up the optional MagSafe mount and honestly that has been a big help. The included phone clamp works fine, but if you have a thicker case it can be tricky to balance. With the MagSafe mount it is quick and easy to set up. That being said, I really wish DJI included it in the box because for iPhone users it makes the experience much smoother. Performance-wise, the gimbal feels more stable and the usability has definitely evolved over time. I do hope future updates let us use object tracking directly in the native iPhone camera app instead of only through the Mimo app. Another small thing, I wish there was a built-in extension, even if shorter than the 7P version. Also the optional tracking and flashlight package would've been nice if it supported MagSafe users as well. Aside from those small wishes, this is a very solid gimbal for casual and light creators like myself. The stabilization is smooth, battery life is great, and it just feels dependable for everyday filming. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you are coming from an older model.
