We love this bag. It is exactly what we wanted. It is definately made with love.

The media could not be loaded.  The fabric of this thing is thin, obviously homemade and not something I expect to hold up an entire school year for third grader. If you’re expecting that thick vinyl-type pencil case, this isn’t it… it literally looks and feels like a zipper was stitched onto pillow case fabric at a sewing machine in the basement.Big misrepresentation in the item image… they show scissors and pencils and markers and pens shoved into this thing, but the actual size is much smaller than I expected, but that’s also partially my own fault for not looking up the dimensions in the description and simply going off the image. Even then, it’s listed as 8 inches wide, but you can see in the picture it’s closer to 7.5 inches and as most guys will tell you, that half-inch makes a difference... Especially when you’re trying to get your 7.5 inch pencil out of the case!I paid $14 for this (shipping was not free with this seller, even with prime) and this MIGHT be worth $3.50 if we include materials, labor, and OF COURSE, inflation… yes, I’m aware I sound like a jerk… but I would have loved to read a review like mine so I could have just kept moving on to something worth the money.

The overall stitching work is nicely done, so the quality for a one layer fabric bag is fine.It’ll do what it needs to, but I wonder for how long it’ll hold up. I question the durability as a pencil bag for the long run. It feels thin and flimsy because of the one layer.I bought it as a little travel pencil pouch for my son for an upcoming long trip. It’ll hold up for that, that’s all I wanted. For a long time and constantly used pencil pouch, I would probably not choose this.

Even though I do wish it was a little longer to be an easier fit for new sharpened pencils, we love this little pouch/pencil case. We bought this specifically for my 7 year old son’s backpack. He loves MineCraft and is super happy with it.
