Hagoromo Microfiber Magnetic All-Board Eraser [Large]

I have used chalk boards for many years and have loved them because of their simplicity and ease of use. No dry erase accidents (permanent stains!) or caps to lose. But chalkboards make a lot of dust. The chalk and erasers from this company are simply superior to all others. The chalk comes as close to smooth and dustless as I have ever experienced. The eraser, however, is in a class by itself. It is easy to hold because of its shape. The microfiber cloth is attached with velcro and is easily removed for cleaning / rinsing. The eraser hold a great deal of chalk dust before its path becomes "chalky," and the erasing power of this thing is very satisfying. Easy to use, easy to clean, powerful, complete erasing. What's not to love?

The only problem I have is that it keeps "mysteriously" going missing, and turning up in other people's offices... infinitely better than the standard felt block ones, and easier to de-chalk too.

I have a floor to ceiling chalkboard in my math classroom at an alternative school. Kids are working at their own pace, and I’m bouncing from kid to kid helping them with concepts they don’t understand. Because the chalkboard goes from floor to ceiling there’s no chalk tray to hold an eraser. This is such a problem solver! It’s always where I need it — as opposed to the chalk which I have to keep in a cup. That seems to never be where I need it. It’s also nice and big, so fewer swipes to erase larger areas. And unlike a traditional erase you can peel off the chamois clothe and rinse/wash it. You get a second cloth to use while the other one dries.

This is the BEST white board eraser so far, will try it on blackboard next week, but I assume it will be better than the regular one. But it is pricy... I will try some cheap alternate and see if they function similarly.

I got two of these, one for a white board and one for a chalk board and they work really great on both of them. Erase really cleanly and easily. Love that you can remove the pad to wash them. One star off cause the handle portion is more bulky than I was expecting or hoping it would be.

Such a good product--it cleans so much better than your standard felt eraser and is magnetic so you can stick it to the board (assuming you have some metal in your board). It comes with two velcro cloths so you can wash one and continue with the other one while it dries. So glad I got this.

I used to use microfiber cloths for my class chalkboards (I have 4, each huge), and thought that was good enough. I saw this and decided to splurge. I am now spoiled. I love that it will stay on the Board where I put it, it erases cleanly, and it has 2 cleaning pads, which are washable. I hand-washed the first and hung it to dry, and it washed well. It's much more comfortable to use, also, and I never accidentally run my fingernails across the board anymore (which was so awful). The only thing I wish is that I could buy extra pads for it, separately.
