Good Idea.
I received these today and they're bright and attractive.However, two of five had tears in the silicone--straight out of the package.(See pics of red and pink grips.)I'm returning them because these were purchased for children, and if the grips arrived torn then I'm assuming these grips aren't very sturdy.

Helps with grip but is very annoying when it’s time to erase
Really helps with pencil grip, however it’s annoying when it’s time to erase work. Unless you have an eraser for the non-dominant hand, you have to take your fingers out of “the claw” and readjust every time. This doesn’t stop us from using it, but was something I didn’t consider when purchasing and makes for a little more of a fight when it’s time for homework.
