80'' / 205 CM Black Retractable Tape Measure with Black Rope

If you attempt to push the button and let it freely fold back in, the plastic mechanism inside might break. I accidentally let it freely fold back in and it felt like it almost broke. But for the length and price, I 'll let it slide.

I'm using this for salt and freshwater fishing and it seems to do the job just fine. It's at least somewhat water resistant if not waterproof. Since most fishing gear is semi-disposable the low cost is a plus.

I feel like I have a love hate relationship with this measuring tape. I had this exact model and it broke so I ordered a new one. However I didn’t feel like it was measuring accurately with the big retractable part. Everything was about an inch or two off. So I ended up just breaking it off myself to keep the accuracy. The retraction is fantastic, I just wish it didn’t mess with the results. I guess if you pull the tape out far enough it wouldn’t, but that just became annoying.

The tape did not roll back into the roll when pressing the button. I tried to squish it back in and it still didn’t roll back in. I pulled the tape all the way out to see how long it would go and then the tape snapped completely out. Will not be able to use the tape as intended. Overall disappointed.
