This is not your average small carabiner-style clip - but unlike the aluminum clips it's not made of rounded metal, it's fairly square with the corners all eased off and a nice matte finish on it. I really like how the spring isn't just a piece of spring steel inside the clip, it's molded right into the piece and works well - since it only needs to move just enough to allow the other end to open and clip into a keychain, d ring on a backpack, etc. It's small and feels incredibly durable, though about the same weight as an aluminum carabiner-style clip.I'm attaching it to my keys and if it's going to show wear and tear - it will happen quickly. I tend to go through a few aluminum clips each year as they eventually move too much from side to side and the spring steel inserted into them comes loose. I won't have that problem with this. This looks like it should last much longer! I'll also test out the bottle opener soon. If it can't handle the tasks and fails - I'll update the review

Due to its durable titanium construction this keychain biner is very lightweight. Is it significantly lighter than an aluminum biner? Well, I won’t really notice the difference on my keychain, but since the gate mechanism doesn’t utilize a cheap spring, it is far more durable. Most aluminum keychain carabiners seem to fail on me fairly regularly and it is always the gate spring that gives up the ghost.Since this is titanium, you are paying a premium for it. You could likely get up to 25 aluminum keychain biners for the price of this one. But I will say that this biner is sleek and good looking. I’ve put it on my pocket keychain where weight and durability count. I like how it is designed so that the biner does not get turned around on the split ring and there is no fear about the biner falling off or more importantly, your keys falling off the carabiner. I ordered the model with the bottle opener so that I’m never caught without one the next time I go to a party. For the model I received, the biner portion itself is 2-inches long not including the rings. It is 0.8-inches wide at the widest point, and the gate opens to an opening of 0.4-inches. The spine of the biner is 1/8-inch thick.So, you have to ask yourself, is it worth the hefty asking price for one keychain biner? If you have the coin to shell out then why not, it’s not like it is the cost of a new phone or TV. But if you’re pinching pennies and need a new keychain biner, then an aluminum biner would work just fine.

This little keychain is amazing. It is strong and lightweight with an ingenious design. I don’t believe I’ll ever need to replace it. I love that it clips on my belt loop or anything else. Highly recommended.

I bought this product because it claims to have a locking caribeaner that will keep anything attached to it safe. The first time I received it, the screw came loose and I lost an AirTag. I was stupid enough to think maybe it was just a factory error, but the next replacement also fell off (I had my boyfriend tighten it too since he is a handy man). Now I am out the $12-$15 AND I lost over $50 dollars because the clips didn’t function in keeping an item clipped on. I feel slighted and cheated. I’m sure it wasn’t o. Purpose, but still not ok

These work well and are easy to find in a purse. Plus, super easy to unscrew the clasp and add or remove keys. Small and lightweight.

I actually needed a different type of attachment piece to hold a small chain that connected a pivoting led light to the flag on top of my flagpole. The original attachment piece was a ring clip similar to a round key ring type of device. The chain somehow kept working it's way off the ring. So this part should be more durable and not allow the chain to do it's Houdini act and disconnect from the flag.

Not sure if these will fall apart at some point in the future but the rings themselves have a look and feel of just being a bit on the thin side. Realize that titanium is strong pound for pound to steel so these rings do not have to be as thick. But there is something to be said for the feeling of confidence that keyrings hold up day after day. My current key rings have been in my possession for over 10 years. Neither the split rings nor the loops are magnetic so the description is likely 100% accurate. the little brass knurled screw in my experience never really stays snug when tossing your keys around or shoving them in pockets while in use, let's hope these are a bit different.So basically a five star review, with one star deducted because of the thinness of the loops, I find it distracting, you need to decide for yourself.
