The Raider defies traditional presumptions about what an ultralight tent can be. Traditionally, double wall tents are heavier. Traditionally, ultralight tents are not durable. The Raider is not traditional. It has everything we wanted in a tent for ultralight backpacking, military operations, and disaster prep: double wall design, competitive weight, small packed size, mil spec toughness, and simple, intuitive setup. The single aluminum head pole and single aluminum foot pole keep weight down without sacrificing strength or head space. The Raider is surprisingly roomy for its category at 24" tall at it's peak. This shelter is a leap forward in the category of tough, reliable shelters. Packs really small, but has a lot of other shortcomings!
This tent is not what I thought it was going to be. Seemed easy watching the video of set up, but once I received the product the matching ground sheet didn't fit, the rain fly doesn't get tight enough (looks floppy and doesn't look like it will take a heavy Storm), and the stakes are plastic which failed miserably when not using soft ground. I'm a soldier and was hoping for an easy tent to set up, but this tent doesn't meet my needs for ease of use.

Perfect bug out tent
As usually some reviews by people that are making false claims. This is no BS....I'm 6'2" 215lbs and had so much space I wanted to see if my 7 year old could fit with me. Answer yes. She's 4' 8" and thin. So your size shouldn't be an issue unless you're Shaquille O'Neal. Extremely easy to set up.I purchased the separate ground sheet which wasn't even necessary, this came with a groundsheet even though it says sold separetely. The groundsheet I purchased is a tan color and the one that came with the tent is od green. Maybe the purchased ground sheet is a millimeter thicker, feels slighty thicker anyway. My main objective for buying this tent was to have a stealthy, low profile backpackable tent of camouflage color that I would be able to get a good night sleep in and have a netting system to keep mosquitoes and spiders out since I live in Florida. I have a 0 degree down sleeping bag that has a comfort value at 2 degrees Fahrenheit as well as a high R-value sleeping pad, so warmth is never going to be an issue for me in the winter regardless what shelter I use, even if it's just a tarp (overkill but I'm a baby and like to be warm). Enough airflow to not only keep condensation down but to keep you cooler on hot summer Florida nights. This is an excellent buy and I would highly advise it to anyone that's serious about having a survival shelter and not camping from a vehicle. This is an ALICE pack ready, super lightweight, low-profile tent to protect you from insects, rain and wind.

Bit short and not easiest entry/ exit
lets Kick off with the pros. It is of overall good build quaility and the packed size and weight is exactly as described. Coloring was as shown and blends well with surroundings. Zippers, stakes, and other included items all are of good quality and design. Now for the cons. The foremost complaint would be that it is shown as having an overall length of 80”. I am 6’1” tall (73”) and unless I absolutely go to freaking town pulling every last ounce of stretch I can get out of it ( read almost ripping off the tabs) I can’t keep the soles of my feet from rubbing the one end and top of my head the other. Only other gripe is that the entrance doesn’t go as far down the shelter (towards feet) as I’d like. It’s not impossible to get in and out of but being as the rain fly covers the entire shelter I don’t see why the darn thing couldn’t have 6” or more length added to ease entry and exit. The low profile that makes it easier to hide also doesn’t leave the most room for maneuvering into this thing. All in all good product and would recommend to others but as with all things there could be improvements.

Great little tent
Used it in Manitoba Canada during the winter. It was great! I am 5'11 and was very comfortable. It is a low profile tent, easy and quick to set up, good in the wind. Packs small. Love the side entrance. Can be packed away with tarp attached to mesh if you think you'll be setting up again in snow or rain.Negatives - only comes with two guy lines - needs 3. Only comes with 4 pegs - needs 10 to 11. No vestibule to store gear. Would not want to be much taller then 5'11 or 6'.People complaining about low entry and not enough height are right out of 'er. It IS a LOW profile bivy style tent not a tall stand alone dome. Research your product and understand its intended use before you buy and whine.
