I have an old Bronco with the factory roll bar and this fit great.I bought a standard automotive fire extinguisher for it.Easy and fast access by simply pulling the red knob.It's one of those things that I hope I never have to use, but will be extremely important for easy access if it's ever needed.It's snug and doesn't rattle on rough trails either.Highly recommended

Would not fit Honda pioneer 1000-6 roll bar

Nice, simple little fire extinguisher mount with quick release. Mounts solid and release works good.I installed this yesterday on a Honda rancher ATV. We wanted to mount it on the front rack but off to the side so that it would not get damaged.Installation was simple and took about 30 minutes, only because I wasn't sure where I wanted it. It probably takes fifteen minutes if you know the right spot for yours.During installation there are some sticky strips that you wrap on the bar where you are attaching the clamps for the base unit of the extinguisher holder. I wrapped the felt strip around the bar, put one of the base clamps where I wanted it, and then attached the base unit to the first clamp so that I could easily know exactly where the second bar clamp would attach. Left the screws loose enough to adjust until complete.The bar I was attaching this to was a bit smaller than recommended so I just wrapped some black electrical tape around the bar where the clamps would be positioned to give it a thicker base to clamp to and it worked perfect. No wiggle at all.If you are mounting this on a bigger bar, they send spacers and longer screws.Next I clamped the fire extinguisher to the releasing base and snapped it on the unit. Showed my wife how to work it and we're in business.You can mount the base to the ATV to allow the fire extinguisher to swing off of the ATV in the direction you want it to. Just make sure the base is in the position that it allows it to do so.I purchased two more, one for my UTV and one for another ATV. There is a difference in the units so make sure you get the one designed for yours because each comes with different base mounts.

Very impressed with this mount so far. I loved that this wasn't the typical hose clamp onto the cage bar type mount, and the clamps worked very well on my machine (RZR with cagewrx aftermarket cage). I used a little blue loctite on all the mounting bolts and this went on very snug. The shrink tubing for the extinguisher hose clamps is a nice touch and makes it look a little nicer. This mount just held up to a desert race over the weekend with my son running in the Youth 1000 class, it was a pretty good endurance test and about as hard as you'd ever run a sxs. Super impressed and will be buying another one for our other machine.

My use case for this was my Jeep. It looks great and had enough variety of hardware that I was able to install it on the interior bracket for my Front Runner expedition rack. For its intended use on a UTV roll bar, it will be a great option and be an install and forget it till you need it, which is the best kind. It comes free with a pull on the one large knob, obvious and easy. Recommended
