My very first thought when I saw this was that it is entirely too expensive. I am backing off of that now that I've tried it. Honestly, I typically buy my shampoo when I'm grocery shopping so it's not exactly high-end. The cheaper brands are cheaper because they are less concentrated and have a lot more water in them.And that really makes a difference with this. They recommend brushing through your hair before washing it to get any tangles out, so it can work better. They also suggest using a quarter-size amount of this. I have very long hair and I cut that way back. I used closer to a small pea size, and that was more than ample to work this thoroughly through my hair. Because it's concentrated, a little goes a lot further with this.I did a quick search to find out how many peas approximately are there in 8 ounces and came up with around 150. They recommend using this once a week which is how often I typically use a purple shampoo for clarifying.That made all the difference when I started thinking about the per-use cost of this. If I can get even 100 uses out of this, that's 2 years' worth. Suddenly the price of this seems a lot more reasonable. But the proof is in the pudding. I have color-treated hair, and if I have any buildup, it starts to have that tint around my temples, which is why I always use a clarifying shampoo.My hair seriously looked a lot brighter and shinier. I haven't tried their conditioner, but my hair was a lot softer than it normally is when I use just a clarifying shampoo. Normally I combat that by using a purple shampoo first, then a keratin shampoo. I found when I used this that I didn't need the keratin shampoo. Overall, this honestly seems like a money saver for me in the long term.

It lathers nicely and rinses clean.After just one wash, my color-treated, wavy hair felt soft, shiny, and much healthier. I didn’t even need much conditioner afterward. My waves looked more defined and had less frizz.I have used it once a week for a scalp detox, and it leaves my hair feeling fresh and balanced, also I have Let it sit for a minute before rinsing and really boosts the results.Highly recommend detox shampoo.

I have kinky curly hair and I have scalp eczema, so I'm frequently using a lot of product and oils on my hair (because it just soaks up product) and then dealing with the fallout when there's inevitably build up. So, I've been trying quite a few different clarifying shampoos. Most make my hair feel extra dry and yucky -- likely exacerbated by the fact that I use nizoral every so often. So, I was a bit skeptical to try this brand. It's a little more expensive than some of the other brands that I've used, mostly considering it's size but not the absolute priciest that I've ever tried -- It's also shampoo so, for me, a little goes a long way.This did a great job of cleansing and also soothing my scalp. My hair didn't feel a little dry after usage but after some conditioner and a light oil, my hair and curls have been really soft.

I have never used a detox shampoo but I wanted to try this shampoo for several reasons. The main reason is I have mature hair that I do not color and with sun exposure my hair gets a brassy color. The second reason is I use a lot of products on my hair and wanted to try a detox shampoo to see if this would help with possible product build up. This is a plastic bottle with an easy to snap cap that is easy to pour from the bottle. I have shoulder length coarse and thick hair and I personally used a dime sized amount of this detox shampoo. The shampoo easily lathered in my hair and also easily rinsed out. I used just a small amount of my normal conditioner as I only had the detox shampoo. This detox shampoo absolutely left my hair shiny, frizz free, took the brassy tones out and made my hair really soft and easy to style. The shampoo has a light floral scent that is pleasant and not overpowering at all. Another great thing is that this product is cruelty free which is important to me. I intend to use this shampoo weekly. My scalp feels massaged after use. My hair and I love this product (I'm pretty picky about products) and my hair looks and feels amazing. This product will be part of my weekly routine, is easy to use and you only need a small amount to get a good lather.

Finding a great shampoo is hard. Most don't live up to their promises, but this My Way Hair Detox Shampoo certainly does. The consistency is thick and rich, with a light, clean scent that doesn't overpower my nose. I can't believe the lather I got from a tiny dime-sized dollop. My hair was smooth and soft and almost tangle-free when I rinsed this out, and after it dried, it was shiny and smooth, with no frizz at all.I was NOT expecting this to be so good and so gentle. Most detox shampoos are harsh and leave my hair stripped and feeling dry. This one did the opposite, leaving even my ends moisturized and frizz-free. My scalp felt good too, with no tightness or itching, just a soothed head and beautiful hair.I suppose the old saying, "you get what you pay for" is true in this case. At $30, this shampoo is not cheap, but as concentrated as it is, I think it's a fair price. I'm completely happy with the results and my hair looks great!
