well made, valuable to the smoker experience. If all you want to do is hang meat...you don't need this. but the combination of hanging meat and grilling it makes using this smoker enjoyable.

Got my grates yesterday fired up for Dino rib chicken and brisket smoke on my pit barrel grates worked flawless got good seasoning on them although for anyone trying to use one side to smoke and one side to hang meat the grate doesn't fold over far enough slight modification to hinge problem solved

Works well when you need to add wood to your coals or hang ribs while you cook chicken.

I really like this piece, the entire thing is a great product, looking forward to using it this thanksgiving

Allows for so much more cooking at once. Ribs can keep cooking well veggies cook shorter time on the grates.
